2025 Kentucky Future Stars – Projected 8th Grade Offensive Line

The coaches of the Kentucky Future Stars determine positions.*</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This year's Kentucky Future Stars saw over 400 athletes show up in four different areas around the state, in an effort to be selected for the #Brotherhood of the program. Each year, on the posted roster, the Kentucky Future Stars combine the linemen together and do not specify Offensive Line or Defensive Line. On this year's 8th Grade roster, there are a whopping 27 linemen listed. The starter at RT on last year's KY Future Stars team, Brandenburg returns to the team an inch taller and 40 pounds heavier. He started at Right Tackle for Belfry this season and also turned in a very good wrestling season for the Pirates. Lucas offers some versatility with his size and mobility. With that said, I have not seen Montgomery play, nor can I find any film on him via a Google search. After watching him at the KYMSFA BOTR in March, Stivers looks significantly bigger than he was a year ago. Also a basketball player, his feet and size make him an option at either Guard or Tackle. However, on this team, Thacker is one of the <em>"smaller"</em> kids up front. That said, he's a versatile kid that can play Guard on offense and either DT or D-End on defense. Following a solid season, Thompson picked up an Honorable Mention D2 Player of the Year nomination.
