Expert Analysis

Alsabrook is highly regarded early on for good reason. He plays with a mean streak and brings a physical presence every snap. His strong hands allow him to control defenders at the point of attack, and he has the power to dominate in the run game. He looks to finish blocks and plays with the kind of edge that offensive line coaches love. When he gets locked onto a defender, he can drive them out of the play and create movement up front. There aren’t many young linemen who play this physically this early, and that’s a big reason why so many people are high on him.

‘s potential here. Big 6-foot-4, 285-pound offensive tackle with the size and frame to succeed at the next level. Of all the underclassmen OL at the camp, eh played with the best technique, flashing adequate bend, great use-of-hands inside and strike timing. Very good at sustaining rushers and keeping them between his feet, can spin the barrell effectively and stay balanced. Tape shows a good run blocker who can drive his feet on contact and reach the second level. Plays with good discipline, under control, and flashes a good lateral set to mirror rushers. With three more years to go, the sky is the limit.

had a very impressive freshman year at left tackle for Somerset. He was able to assert his dominance in a run-heavy offense. Alsabrook does a great job of running his feet through contact to create movement off the line of scrimmage with ease. He finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in frequent pancake blocks. Christian will be an intriguing offensive tackle prospect to continue to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.

Alsabrook has been one of the best Offensive Linemen in Kentucky for several years, continuing to prove it at every chance. I expect him to be a starter at either Left or Right Tackle in this year’s Future Stars Game.
