2029 Rankings Update: OL

As we get deeper into the month of July, the 2026 high school football offseason is in full swing and the regular season is quickly approaching. With that in mind, we have begun a new wave of rankings updates in the state of Kentucky. To start things up in this round of updates, we have officially released our updated Top 125 players in the class of 2029. With these updates being published, I will be taking some time to break them down by position. After already covering the offensive skill players, here are our top offensive linemen in the class of 2029 in the state of Kentucky.    [player_tooltip player_id='2240457' first='Logan' last='Barbour'] is a player who has caught my attention this offseason. He lines up at left tackle where he is very impressive in pass protection. Barbour gets into his pass sets quickly and maintains a strong base while taking out contact, not allowing for easy penetration into the pocket. In the run game, Barbour does a great job of driving through his man to drive them out of the picture with ease to create a running lane. Logan currently holds an offer from Grambling State and I wouldn't be surprised to see more come his way this upcoming season.     [player_tooltip player_id='1311215' first='JP' last='Brandenburg'] played a key role in the Estill County offense as a freshman at right tackler. He is a very effective run blocker who does a great job of running his feet through contact to drive his man several yards down the field with ease. JP has also proven to be a very reliable pass blocker. He has shown the footwork to mirror opposing pass rushers with ease off the edge while also keeping a strong base. Brandenburg has started to receive some college interest and I expect a lot of eyes to be on him going into his sophomore season.     [player_tooltip player_id='1311355' first='Christian' last='Alsabrook'] is another player who made a big impact as a freshman. He lines up at left tackle where he is a dominant run blocker. Christian gets strong inside position with his hands then uses his leg drive to move his man where he wants them to go. He finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, often resulting in pancake blocks. Christian will definitely be a player for college coaches to pay close attention to over the next few years.     [player_tooltip player_id='910150' first='Mason' last='Baker'] started at right guard for the state champion Centurions as a freshman. He is a mauler in the run game who explodes out of his stance and drives straight through his man to create movement off the line of scrimmage. Baker finishes his blocks through the whistle with a ton of physicality, resulting in frequent pancake blocks down the field. In pass protection, he does a great job of maintaining a strong base while absorbing contact while also using his footwork to get into his pass sets to protect his inside gap. Baker has been receiving a good amount of college interest and that interest to continue to grow this offseason.     To wrap up our top five offensive linemen in the class of 2029 in the state of Kentucky, I have [player_tooltip player_id='1651448' first='Zane' last='Mullins']. Mullins lines up at right guard where he is very impressive as a run blocker. He does a great job of using his athleticism to his advantage when being asked to pull and get to the second level. Mullins gets to the second level with a sense of urgency and has shown the ability to pick up blocks with ease in the open field. When he gets to his defender, Zane has shown the ability to use his strong/physical punch to knock them off balance and finish the block quickly. Mullins has been hitting the camp circuit hard this offseason and I expect a lot of eyes to be on him heading into his sophomore year.
