Tight End is one of my favorite positions to scout. Very few High Schools have a Tight End friendly scheme, but those that do usually do an excellent job at utilizing them. All of these TEs are well-utilized, have amazing physical traits, and they all have that one extra thing that makes them stand out in my mind.

Upside.

Stick with me here. Lincoln is an awesome athlete, and I thought about listing that as his top trait. Though after scouting Lincoln in person, I know that his best trait is the astronomical upside.

Aside from Lincoln's athletic ability, he's a good receiver, has a wide catch radius, and has absolutely elite measurables. I do think he's still raw in several areas. Specifically, I'd like to see better blocking, physicality, and overall better consistency. That's not to say he's undeserving of the #3 ranking- far from it. Lincoln's upside is unreal, and has flashed incredible receiver ability. If he sticks with it and develops well at Georgia, Lincoln could be a future NFL star.

I can't stress this enough- raw right now, but has ELITE upside.

Physicality.

A lot of great traits for Jack, but I think his physicality stands out above all else.

His tape at OLSM, specifically at defensive end, shows his physicality. Love the way Jack fires off the ball and relentlessly pursues the ballcarrier, and sheds any would-be blockers. I honestly don't have the best information on Jack right now, but yeah, the physicality really stands out to me.

Playing EDGE, DL, TE, whatever, Jack's physicality will serve him well. Keep being relentless out there.

Receiving ability.

This covers hands, route-running, RAC.

Ryan simply has some of the best receiving tape in the class. The highlight at 0:18 shows a good 5-yard hitch, a great catch (using his hands rather than body), and amazing RAC. Not many High School TEs can move like that. Next highlight, Ryan runs does an excellent job chipping the DE, then running a great route to the back of the endzone where he completes the TD catch.

#1 or #2 best receiving TE in this class. Love his route running and that he almost always catches with his hands rather than body. Unsure how he is as an in-line blocker, but still a definite D1 prospect in my opinion.

Physicality.

Zackary is one of the most well-rounded TEs in the class, as he has a wide variety of blocking and receiving highlights. I really like how he's utilized in the De La Salle offense.

Though if I had to choose one trait, it would be physicality. Several highlights (like 1:12) show a willingness to block and be physical. On that play in particular, he does a good job forcing the outside linebacker outside to open up the C gap. Next play, a great lead block against the same team.

Zachary is also a solid receiver. I like his route running and he does a good job of turning upfield after the catch.

Physicality.

This was a tough one, because Jacob is also a darn good receiver. Though, his physicality on both sides of the ball was too good to ignore.

Offensively, Jacob lines up in-line and outside. 1:25 shows a great block lining up outside. Gets right in the DBs face, and pancakes him before there's a chance to shed the block. Next highlight, Jacob (playing DE) shoves a would-be blocker to the ground then gives another player a hit for good measure.

Jacob's physicality shows up more on the defensive side of the ball than the offensive side. Still, I love the physicality and it will definitely serve Jacob well at the next level.
