I feel great about Lake Orion this season. Some of that confidence comes from Tight End Ryan Rocheleau Ryan Rocheleau 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE Lake Orion | 2026 State MI .
Ryan is primarily utilized as a vertical threat, lining up both in-line and in the slot. Where Ryan shows the most impressive flashes is in his short-intermediate routes. Ryan can take something like a quick hitch or a 10-yard out for massive yardage. While I feel Ryan should upgrade his physicality and contact balance, he earns those extra yards via his superior vision and athletic ability. Alongside his recent camp showings, I’m confident that Ryan is an even better receiver. Considering the returning talent on the Lake Orion offense, particuarly at QB, I expect Ryan to have a massive season on the offensive side of the ball.

Receiving ability.
This covers hands, route-running, RAC.
Ryan simply has some of the best receiving tape in the class. The highlight at 0:18 shows a good 5-yard hitch, a great catch (using his hands rather than body), and amazing RAC. Not many High School TEs can move like that. Next highlight, Ryan runs does an excellent job chipping the DE, then running a great route to the back of the endzone where he completes the TD catch.
#1 or #2 best receiving TE in this class. Love his route running and that he almost always catches with his hands rather than body. Unsure how he is as an in-line blocker, but still a definite D1 prospect in my opinion.

Ryan is a bit of a wildcard, as he isn’t quite at the top of this TE class, but he’s still a Division 1 prospect. Heck, there’s a chance he’s a lot better than what he’s being recruited as.
Like a lot of TEs on this list, Ryan is a two-way player. Defensively, Ryan is utilized as an on and off-ball outside linebacker. On defense, Ryan has a few great highlights and hard hits- Ryan is very physical, which is something I look for in all players regardless of position.
Offensively, Ryan doesn’t have a ton of tape. However, he has a few promising plays on his youtube channel. There, I like Ryan’s ability to box out DBs and catch 50/50 balls. I like that he can make those catches, but he still needs to work on toe-tapping near the sidelines. Time will tell just how good of a receiver Ryan is, but if I had to guess, I’d say Ryan is more of a possession guy like Jack.

Ryan should have been on the rankings a long time ago. Right off the bat, he obviously has excellent size. A very small percentage of people are 6’5″+, and that right there makes Ryan an intriguing prospect.
Though you can’t have D1 offers with bad tape! His second highlight at 0:16 showcases Ryan’s receiving abilities. It’s a very simple 5-yard hitch, but Ryan shows great footwork on the route and then proceeds to torch the defense for a 30-yard touchdown. Other plays like 0:45 showcase his receiving ability. It’s a standard drag route, but Ryan does a good job at breaking a tackle then attempting to fight through other tackles for extra yards. I can’t tell you how many Tight Ends I’ve watched who struggle mightily with physicality. Ryan is very physical!
Obvious D1 talent, and I’m glad that a few schools are taking notice.
