SPEED:

Rainer is a kid that I wrote on early in the spring and watching film on Rainer I just keep going back to the overall speed Rainer displays on the field. I am very impressed with Rainers first step and his ability to hit top speed in only a few steps. Rainer is not just a speed back so make no mistake he will get tough yards when he needs to put his head down and drive a pile. Rainer also shows a good ability to see a play and know when to bounce the ball outside or cut back up inside to get a few extra yards. Keep an eye on this Lake Orion team this fall and expect Rainer to make more than a few house calls for the Dragons.

Rainer is a kid I am looking forward to watching compete in Southfield next month. Rainer show solid burst out of cuts and keeps solid balance through contact. I am looking forward to seeing his pass catching ability out of the back field and how he stacks up against other older backs in attendance.

Here’s another RB that has set himself up nicely. The Lake Orion RB got plenty of JV reps, plus some varsity experience sprinkled in. He’s a speed demon with great burst and elusiveness. His contact balance is impressive. Many highlights show him keeping his legs churning upon contact, and able to regain balance when he’s tripped up. Another offseason of work could make Rainer an absolute superstar in the OAA before long.
