The Minnesota PrepRedzone spring combine was a smashing success, in no small part due to one of the best offensive line groups that I've seen at a camp in my three years as a writer. These big boys came to play, touting nuts size and surprising athleticism, meet some of the most dominant trench dogs from today!

Our OL combine MVP, Moore, showed off nearly unparalleled physical dominance throughout the afternoon. Winning a large portion of his one-on-one reps, Moore was often able to nullify pass-rushes with a deep kickstep, typically followed by a forceful powerstep to displace defenders down the LOS. Touting an impressively long wingspan, Moore was often able to get a hand on defenders before they could him, and showcased fantastic kneebend and leverage over three hours. Big things to come from the Tonka offensive lineman!

Boasting an eye-catching frame as only a freshman, Freier's potential to evolve into an elite offensive lineman over the next three years is evident. Physically, he's already on par with all of his older peers. When he gets underneath a defender, he can displace them in an instant. There were multiple reps where a defender crossed his face, and he was able to push them down the line. With improved knee bend and foot speed, Freier could go far in this sport.

One of my favorite prospects from the combine, Zabel, proved to me that he's earned that Air Force offer he snagged a day ago. He was a dominant physical force, and although he typically plays on the edge, I was practically impressed with his play in the interior OL, where he's able to maximize his agility. Zabel looked very mobile during the pulling drills and was one of the most competitive athletes at the event. His foot speed impressed me quickly, as did his knee bend and sense of leverage. I don't suspect that the Air Force offer is going to be his last this offseason.

I couldn't stop singing Forthun's praises throughout the camp. He was clearly one of the camp's top performers by all metrics. Super aggressive, quick, and able to stop a wide range of pass-rushes, Forthun's future, specifically as a center, looks super bright. Despite being at a distinct disadvantage in no-pads, he was able to clamp multiple bull rushes from bigger opponents utilizing a malicious jump set. A stud like this from a small-town school is rare, and he's ramping up for a big junior season.

Durbin burst onto the scene today, hailing from the small northern town of Battle Lake, and he showed out for his team. An interior offensive lineman with a wide base, Durbin, too, was able to stifle bull rushes despite being at a disadvantage. He also made quick work of defenders attempting to bend the edge around him with solid kicksteps, and even was able to gain ground with power steps that generated tremendous leverage against a defender. A 2027 with plenty of room to develop, Durbin has a lot to love as a prospect.

Pearson quickly managed to turn my head with his long wingspan and impressive height. I loved his fundamentals, ranging from a textbook stance to clean kicksteps working back; it was all impressive. He plays a little forward at times and could use improvement on readjusting his sets, but Pearson's potential for high-level production is clear. He's got two years to put on weight and get some work in, and a season of varsity playing time would serve his development well. He appears to be the kind of athlete you see take massive steps each time you see him, so I'm pumped to see how he performs during his junior campaign.

McLean got a lot of love from coaches and writers alike today, and heading into his senior season, I think the future is bright for the Orono product. A muscular 270 pounds and a pair of long arms set him apart physically from a lot of his peers, but paired with his athleticism, he poses a serious threat to defenses. McLean was a grinder who fought tooth and nail every rep, and saw success both across positions and against a variety of pass-rushes. A high-GPA athlete with a towering ceiling, McLean is definitely an athlete to keep an eye out for in 2025.

Another small-town athlete who made waves today, Brick is a towering figure with some gross lateral movement abilities. A physical tackle whose agility could lend itself to some interior play as well, Brick plays quite similarly to what his name suggests. He could do with some more depth on his kicksteps, but if he gets his long arms on a defender, then they're in a lot of trouble. He plays with a great bend in his knees, is super explosive out of his stance, and had speed at times that looked among the best out of the trench dogs. Brick is an out-state prospect who deserves more recognition after today's combine.
