A short and stout blocker who may not shine among the measurables, but what Cameron Forthun Cameron Forthun 6'0" | 253 lbs | OL Southland | 2027 State MN lacks in size, he makes up for in aggressiveness and sheer tenacity. Despite playing at the Right Tackle position, and going against some superior blockers in terms of size and athleticism, Forthun was able to hold his ground extremely well, often winning on the first step, and maintaining a very high motor finishing through his blocks and leaving little leeway for defenders to get through him. Forthun will remain an important piece for the Rebels’ O-line as he enters his senior campaign.

I couldn’t stop singing Forthun’s praises throughout the camp. He was clearly one of the camp’s top performers by all metrics. Super aggressive, quick, and able to stop a wide range of pass-rushes, Forthun’s future, specifically as a center, looks super bright. Despite being at a distinct disadvantage in no-pads, he was able to clamp multiple bull rushes from bigger opponents utilizing a malicious jump set. A stud like this from a small-town school is rare, and he’s ramping up for a big junior season.
