Let’s just say I was watching one of the Outstate’s best offensive linemen in the 2026 class

of Alexandria, pretty closely in Brookings. It all starts with the footwork, as Evan impressed me with how mobile his feet were and also showed off great fluidity that showed off quickly out of his stance. He showed off one of the best pad-levels I saw at the SDSU prospect camp in my eyes and was just a balanced competitor in every skillset I got to watch. There is no wonder why Evan has an offer from just about everyone in the NSIC and one D1 offer to his resume thus far in the summer as it’s been a rising summer for Evan for sure. Twitter

One of my favorite prospects from the combine, Zabel, proved to me that he’s earned that Air Force offer he snagged a day ago. He was a dominant physical force, and although he typically plays on the edge, I was practically impressed with his play in the interior OL, where he’s able to maximize his agility. Zabel looked very mobile during the pulling drills and was one of the most competitive athletes at the event. His foot speed impressed me quickly, as did his knee bend and sense of leverage. I don’t suspect that the Air Force offer is going to be his last this offseason.

has been tearing it up as the blindside blocker for Alexandria’s offense. Zabel is one of the most proficient pass protectors on this list, showing great footwork, lateral movement, and change of direction. He’s not easy to get through, which has made him a reliable presence on the blindside, and he’s a key reason why Alexandria led the state in passing yards last season. Zabel is one of the toughest players to go against in the state currently, and if he gains some additional mass this offseason, he could very much rise toward the very top of the rankings among the trenches.
