2027 Rankings Update: WL to Ranked Stock Risers

He was a new addition to the PRZ NV 2027 rankings back in January and moved up from the watchlist to the official rankings with the impressive offseason performances he's put together in recent months. Has shown promising upside in his frame (6'1"/205), athleticism, and ball skills as a TE on the 7v7 circuit that should translate well to the defensive side of the ball. The 6'/160 DB out of Faith Lutheran is the younger brother of one of the biggest offseason recruiting risers- [player_tooltip player_id='1110877' first='Matthew' last='Mason']- who's picked up 20 D-I offers since his breakout junior season. Jaden put together a productive sophomore season himself with 44 total tackles, 11 PBUs and an INT and flashes some of the same traits that vaulted his older brother onto the D-I radar. Now at Coronado, he's impressed some of our Nevada scouts with his promising physicality and LB skillset and was one of a few freshman moved up to Liberty's varsity squad prior to transferring. The 6'/170 safety out of Bishop Gorman has shown the physical tools and instincts of a future D-I recruit with potential to develop into one of the top DBs in his class as we get farther down the road. Possesses a strong, athletic frame that should be P-4 worthy as he continues to grow and develop and looks extremely savvy and anticipatory covering the middle of the field. He showed some promising flashes of athleticism and physicality on JV last season that should translate well to the varsity level in the fall. He'll be competing for carries while sharing the backfield with of one of Nevada's elite playmakers but could also make an impact as a versatile weapon out of the slot with a budding receiving skillset.
