Minnesota has consistently produced some of the best high school offensive linemen in the country, and this crop of 2026 trench dogs is no exception. We've seen MN big boys go on to accomplish incredible things, both at the D1 level and even into the NFL, like Joe Alt or Frank Ragnow. Although we're still a few months off from the 2025 season, there is still a ton of elite talent left on the board. Meet some of the best unsigned 2026 offensive linemen!

A two-sport athlete who is a mammoth of a prospect, DeBoer is a fearsome sight lined up in the trenches who has been on an FCS offer-getting tear recently. The big OT is a mauler, and once he gets his mitts into a defensive lineman, they get put on skates. One of DeBoer's traits that impresses me the most is his agility. Very rarely do you get a 300+ lb prospect who is able to get to the second level routinely and disrupt linebackers. Very few tackles of his stature can pull successfully and block smaller, more agile defenders in open space, but this is a feat that DeBoer manages to accomplish repeatedly. He's an extremely effective run-blocker who boasts an FBS frame. He's an RB's dream to run behind.

Another two-sport athlete, Rowe was the starting left tackle for a 13-0 JCC team that won a state championship last season, and with some serious talent coming back, it looks like they could repeat that success in 2025. Rowe plays like a maurader on his tape, he just loves to hit people. Play after play, unfortunate defensive athletes from the first two levels just get tea-kettled by the big man. He just earned his first FBS offer from the Air Force Academy, and it makes sense when you watch Rowe's style of play. He's a physical run-blocker who loves to punish his opponents, and behind him, JCC is going to love to pound the rock this season.

A physical tackle who hasn't gotten the appreciation he deserves, Kelly is, without a doubt, one of the top offensive linemen in the state. He does an excellent job of getting his hands underneath a defender's pads, and once he does, they'll be on skates for the rest of the play. His footspeed could use some work, but he can drive-block a defender downfield like a son of a gun. Kelly has play after play of him putting defenders in the dirt on his tape, he's a bully who drives defensive linemen crazy. I'm pumped to see what he will do during his senior campaign.

Dietel is a stone wall of a prospect who makes a strong case for being one of the best out-state offensive linemen. A destructive offensive tackle who wreaks havoc in the run game, Dietel plays aggressively through the whistle, driving defenders downfield the whole way. He's got multiple plays on his tape of him blocking kids 10+ yards downfield, and he's showcased some positional versatility with some guard tape as well. He's got great agility for a prospect of his size and is a terrifying sight for defenders when he's pulling down the line. Offers are gonna start rolling in for the big man very soon.

A rare find in small-town Minnesota is an offensive lineman with the size to play D1 football, and fortunately for Melrose, Goihl fits that bill. The big guy is agile enough to play guard consistently and has shown he can reliably block smaller defenders in open space. I'd like for him to fire off the line a little lower, but his potential to be a high-level starter at the collegiate level is clear. Goihl playing small-town ball might mean that he doesn't get the attention he deserves in terms of recruiting, but that means whoever gets him is getting a steal of a prospect.

Someone who popped on my radar after last season was Mahtomedi's powerful OT Dawson Duback. The big man is a super physical run-blocker who can displace defensive linemen with ease. He works to the second level quickly and does a good job of picking up blitzes. Trying to cross his face is a bad idea; he will more than likely end up pile-driving you into the dirt. I'd like to see Dubak play lower at times, but his nastiness when fighting in the trenches, combined with his impressive frame, means he's a high-level prospect with a shining upside to play at the next level.

Brown is an underrated outstate gem who could make waves in the NSIC. On his tape, Brown showcases a quick first step off the LOS, and when he takes a 45-degree angle toward a defender, they're likely to end up in the dirt. He churns his feet constantly, which allows him to move large defensive linemen clear out of the play. Brown plays in a run-dominant two-fullback style of offense, so he doesn't have a lot of pass-reps on his tape, but he does manage to consistently clear a giant hole for his ball carriers. It might be time for me to take a trip up to Cass County this fall to watch the big man play.
