Hayden Lindquist | Prep Redzone Scout
A rankings riser and South Dakota commit, Kelly is a forceful trench dog who should be an elite anchor for the Eagles’ offensive line. The kid has insane power, and there isn’t a DT that he can’t move off the line. He moves insanely well for a prospect of his size, and could likely play either tackle or guard at the next level. When he collides with a defender, more often than not, they end up in the dirt. Kelly is going to be a leader and an excellent OL to run behind during his senior year.

A physical tackle who hasn’t gotten the appreciation he deserves, Kelly is, without a doubt, one of the top offensive linemen in the state. He does an excellent job of getting his hands underneath a defender’s pads, and once he does, they’ll be on skates for the rest of the play. His footspeed could use some work, but he can drive-block a defender downfield like a son of a gun. Kelly has play after play of him putting defenders in the dirt on his tape, he’s a bully who drives defensive linemen crazy. I’m pumped to see what he will do during his senior campaign.

A darkhorse prospect in the always-fun Minnesota P4 OL race, Bloomington Kennedy’s 6’6+ OT Jayveon Kelly Jayveon Kelly 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Bloomington Kennedy | 2026 State MN was a top performer at one of the Minnesota Gophers prospect camps this summer, where linemen go fully padded and really battle it out for high-pressure 1v1 wins. We’ve been excited to get some new looks at Kelly, and the midseason tape shows an OT with a powerful punch that has really improved since his sophomore season. He looks good in his stance and is flexible for a taller OT prospect, and is a crushing finisher who does a good job of staying engaged once he gets his hands on an opponent. He’s laterally agile and was used by the Eagles in their quick game to get out in space when the QB gets mobile, and has a good rep showing some COD ability and awareness in pass pro. Dominant 1v1 blocks, physicality and power, and mobility, there’s a lot to be excited about in the Bloomington product.
