The Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit came through Oklahoma for the first weekend in March and it was the largest 7v7 tournament in the three years that Prep Redzone has been doing 7v7 tournaments. We've had a ton of content dropping all week, taking a look at the best players that stood out throughout the tournament. In this breakdown, we're putting that spotlight on the 18U division and TheUNIT918 Platinum. This was the same team that captured the 18U championship a year ago at this tournament. This year, they would make a run to the quarterfinals but came up short to eventual champion Sooner 7. Below, we take a look at six players who really stood out to us during the weekend. And it should be noted that the state's top 2026 prospect, [player_tooltip player_id='402378' first='KD' last='Jones'] did not play on Saturday and that's where we saw the majority of their games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1636070' first='Emory' last='Smittick'] - 2026 Linebacker - Sand Springs

Sand Springs 2026 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1636070' first='Emory' last='Smittick'] is a good example of why we enjoy doing these 7v7 tournaments. Out of the six prospects on this breakdown, Smittick was a name that we were not familiar with prior to the tournament. And it didn't take long for him to stand out. In fact, he was the first player from TheUNIT918 Platinum that grabbed our attention on Saturday morning. Smittick is listed as a linebacker for the Sandites but he was playing more of a cornerback role on Saturday and Sunday and he was doing really well in coverage. He got off to a fast start and would end up having a really strong weekend. He's a name that we're more interested in moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='284116' first='Keynan' last='Farley'] - 2026 Wide Receiver - Booker T Washington

At this time last year, Booker T Washington 2026 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='284116' first='Keynan' last='Farley'] was getting our attention by earning MVP honors at this very tournament. Farley checks just about every box there is from a physical standpoint and then you watch him run around and make catches that other players simply can't make and you have a unique playmaker. On paper, Farley looks like one of the best prospects in the state's 2026 class at the wide receiver position. It feels like his recruitment should take off at any time now. We're also starting to hear conversations of Farley possibly be a defensive back and that could be the case. But for now, and this weekend, Farley continued to shine at the wide receiver position.

[player_tooltip player_id='716513' first='Payton' last='Lang'] - 2027 Athlete - Broken Arrow

2027 standout [player_tooltip player_id='716513' first='Payton' last='Lang'] has a chance to be an absolute breakout star this fall when he takes the field for Broken Arrow. Lang has been at Muskogee the last two years and we've known him as more of a quarterback while understanding he had a lot of versatility to his game. That versatility was on full display throughout the two days in Broken Arrow. Lang emerged early on as the top target in the passing game. And there's no doubt that Broken Arrow has a few different quarterbacks they can turn to so using Lang at wide receiver or somewhere else could make more sense. Nevertheless, we were very impressed with his overall playmaking ability and we're buying stock on him now.

[player_tooltip player_id='402384' first='Skyler' last='Moorman'] - 2026 Quarterback - Union

TheUNIT918 Platinum is one of a handful of teams that would run two quarterbacks out there throughout the two days in Broken Arrow. The other QB was Booker T Washington's [player_tooltip player_id='595677' first='Levi' last='Brooks'] and both quarterbacks had their moments where they shined. But in the games that we watched, 2026 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='402384' first='Skyler' last='Moorman'] would play at a very high level. Moorman would make some headlines in the last few days after he said he would be moving from Collinsville to Union this offseason. Moorman was incredibly efficient with the football when he got his opportunities on Saturday in particular. And the thing that stood out the most to us was his ability to keep that efficiency despite pushing the ball down the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='858876' first='Tayveon' last='Parry'] - 2026 Running Back - Union

Union 2026 running back [player_tooltip player_id='858876' first='Tayveon' last='Parry'] is an offensive playmaker that we are very high on moving forward. We've mentioned how he had a breakout season during the fall and part of that breakout season was his abilities as a pass catcher. He's a complete and dynamic running back. So when he took the field this weekend, we were expecting to see some fireworks and he lived up the hype early on in the tournament. We got to catch them in back to back games on Saturday. morning and Parry would quickly become the safety blanket for the offense. They would try to move the ball downfield but if the secondary had it covered up, Parry would routinely be open to dump the ball to and he would pick up yards after the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1297670' first='Tristian' last='Birmingham'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Sand Springs

The second Sand Springs Sandite on this breakdown is 2027 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1297670' first='Tristian' last='Birmingham'] and we'd suggest you buy stock now on Birmingham moving forward. He had a really good offseason last year and would then enjoy a breakout sophomore season with the Sandites after he moved over from Owasso. And when you start looking ahead to the 2025 season, there's a chance that the Sandites have the best passing attack in the state, regardless of class and Birmingham is a big reason why. He's a solid option in the passing game and he had another strong performance this weekend. In our opinion, he's one of the best wide receivers in the state's 2027 class and he's just scratching the surface.
