Represented AIT this past weekend, worked well with Kemon Spell and Makel Darnell, all three of which looked unstoppable this past weekend while I was in attendance. Mugerwa was a bit quiet at our Pitt 7v7, the sophomore pass-catcher turned it up with better weather. Flashing elite high-pointing ability, Arnold Mugerwa served as a trustworthy target for Drew Ross and Cedric Mack to throw into. A radius expanding well above his head, a consistent catcher of the football despite throws landing away from his body, Mugerwa is not a body-catcher. A presence in the middle of the field too, Mugerwa would catch some seam balls, the sophomore just too big and strong for opposing safeties to bother. Very happy with his overall performance.

MD Octane Black was absolutely loaded with talent. Pretty much every spot on the field was occupied by some semblance of a 3-star athlete. [player_tooltip player_id='402014' first='Kobe' last='Ellis'] fit that mold. A modest Day One but a fantastic Day Two in my opinion. Ellis didn't come away with ridiculous grabs, 50/50 balls, or several touchdowns, yet he was there when [player_tooltip player_id='1353100' first='Jayden' last='Ford'] needed him most. #13 was consistently getting open under 15 yards. I agree with Todd Haldis's latest piece, which also details what he saw out of the Good Counsel junior.

Kobe wasn't always a focal point for Octane-Black's offense but he stepped up when they needed him. I swear every time they needed a key first down or a play to get them going, it was Kobe getting open and making the play. Showing strong hands the ability to find space & separation, he was always open and the safety valve for QB [player_tooltip player_id='1353100' first='Jayden' last='Ford'] . A playmaker after the catch, Kobe can make the first guy miss and get good YAC. In a loaded offense Kobe was a key piece and showed the clutch trait having probably his best game of the weekend in their biggest Tournament playoff game.

I'd argue [player_tooltip player_id='1128451' first='Aidan' last='Durham'] would be a Top Ten worthy candidate on this list had FLEW Elite gotten further in our tournament. An MVP caliber player who was damn near unguardable at all three levels of the field. Crossers, slants, corner routes, you name it, Durham was running crisp routes and losing defenders left and right. Durham, thanks to fantastic burst off the LOS and tempo deployed throughout his routes, was open early and late for [player_tooltip player_id='1206155' first='Denari' last='Hill'], was just a matter of finding him. I fully understand why Durham is ranked as high as he is after watching him work in person.

One of the many physical freaks deployed by Team Copper. A young man who stood tall in the Copper huddle. Brennan Chambers, 6'4, 3.7 GPA, ranked inside the Top 200 among North Carolina juniors. Chambers represented Spring Creek HS. A basketball player too.

Chambers was yet another long-limbed easy-striding wideout for Samari Cabell to throw to. Was a pleasure to watch him glide past DBs on crossing routes. The junior pass-catcher served as a 7-foot window for QBs to throw into, with Chambers consistently coming down with throws that were a substantial distance above his head. Chambers has the catch radius and hand-eye coordination necessary to make bad/inaccurate throws look like good ones. Solid body control for a kid his size, I witnessed Chambers come down with awkward catches near the back of the end zone on more than one occasion. Again, had Copper gone deeper into Day Two, I would make a case for Top 15 love. Happy I got to watch him ball.

5'9, 170 pounds. 3.5 GPA. Currently ranked as a Top Ten senior two-way player in New York. Unaware of his recruiting situation, yet his Twitter shows he caught fire a couple of years back.

As far as his performance goes, I can't have a Top 40 list without he and Nasir Kelly somewhere on it. Pooty Cunningham and Trent Buttles were often spreading the ball around to several targets. Watching back some of the footage, I could make an easy case for Shepard being CTC's best target. Kelly and others are certainly in that discussion, with Kelly holding a spot higher on this list, yet I can't ignore the three-way capabilities Shepard provided this offense with. Unreal hands, great change of direction ability, was able to outrun kids in a one-hand-touch setting. Would love to learn more about his current recruiting situation.
