is an outstanding player from Richland as a wide receiver and defensive back. He is a great athlete with a 6’4″ frame. I am quite honestly shocked he hasn’t gotten much love from College Football coaches. He was outstanding the entire showcase as he dominated the wide receiver drills and the one-on-ones. For his effort, he earned a 1st team offense selection. Mugerwa has a chance to be a special player going forward.

. I expected nothing less out of the Top Ten 2027 wide receiver. Flashed the catch radius and strong hands that I’ve grown accustomed to. Stonehill and Bucknell spoke well about Mugerwa after watching him in person post-camp. Mugerwa’s calling card is his length and hand-eye coordination, said traits were on full display for all to see and for DBs to try to throttle. Any reps that didn’t go Mugerwa’s way were likely because of bad balls his direction. Any time I looked his way, he was winning reps. Love the attention to detail Mugerwa pays at the LOS, he’s taken strides here thanks to excellent training in the off-season.
4.69 40 (HT) for a verified 6’4, 197 pounds. Couple that with a 9’1 broad jump too.
An FBS wideout who looked the part in person. I have had the luxury of watching Mugerwa up close several times a year, I’m familiar with the ins and outs of his game. It was nice to see other coaches present rave about his next-level potential. A little validation in favor of his favorable ranking.

is a bully at the X. He’s strong, quick, and physical. When he’s at the catch point, he attacks the ball. He’s a nightmare for corners on the boundary. He’s strong and precise in his routes. Mugerwa sort of dunks on defenders on 50/50 balls, almost like it’s a 70/30. He reminds me a little bit of Rome Odunze from Washington a few years back. He already holds a couple of FBS offers and will only build more on his resume.

25. Arnold Mugerwa
6’3, 188 pounds. 2027 out of Richland HS, doubles as a wideout/DB. Currently ranked as the sixth-best WR prospect among all PA 2027s.
Represented AIT this past weekend, worked well with Kemon Spell and Makel Darnell, all three of which looked unstoppable this past weekend while I was in attendance. Mugerwa was a bit quiet at our Pitt 7v7, the sophomore pass-catcher turned it up with better weather. Flashing elite high-pointing ability, Arnold Mugerwa served as a trustworthy target for Drew Ross and Cedric Mack to throw into. A radius expanding well above his head, a consistent catcher of the football despite throws landing away from his body, Mugerwa is not a body-catcher. A presence in the middle of the field too, Mugerwa would catch some seam balls, the sophomore just too big and strong for opposing safeties to bother. Very happy with his overall performance.

Favorite reps: 00:01, 00:44, 00:47, @KemonJones9 & @MakelDarnell make some UNREAL catches in this clip. My guy Drew Ross looked confident and in control all weekend. Wish I got to watch more on Sunday. pic.twitter.com/YIj0VWrFlB

is a big physical wide receiver for Richland. He has tremendous size standing 6’3 inches tall. He also has great speed and can run with defenders anytime he touches the ball. He is a classic outside wide receiver who runs excellent routes and catches the ball well in traffic. The other part of his game that is impressive is his route running. He has a good skill set and runs routes well. Mugerwa is a great athlete who should grow even more as a player next season.

as one of the best wideouts among 2027 prospects in Pennsylvania. I’ll admit, I didn’t think Mugerwa was ACC ready after watching his freshman tape. I haven’t watched what Mugerwa has put on Hudl this year, yet I imagine he’s killing it on the turf if Virginia Tech feels comfortable offering. Expect his overall ranking to take a big jump because of the stamp of approval. Happy to have him inside the Top 60 prior to any offer being announced.

had a strong freshman year for Richland. Mugerwa is a big play machine. He can score in many different ways as a wide receiver. He is super explosive after he catches the ball. When Mugerwa gets into the open field, he runs by defenders. He is equally as good as a slot receiver as he is as an outside receiver. Mugerwa also has good hands and catches the ball well in traffic. He is a talented player who should get even better next season.

, is definitely a “Future Freak.” The Mugerwa brothers both displayed skill and competitiveness all day long. His frame, at 6’2 and 175 lbs, is impressive already without ever having played a high school snap. He runs sharp routes mixed with ball skills and has a tremendous leaping ability. Mugerwa has all the makings to be an effective X possession WR and red zone secret weapon. He’s very polished, considering his inexperience, and I’m sure Coach Bailey and the Rams are glad to have him.
