He is heading into his final season for Suitland High School currently ranked 93rd overall in the 2027 class. This off-season he seems to be on a terror as he had another monster outing at Battle Miami 7v7s too. He is bound for a few offers before next fall, he looked rejuvenated over the weekend.

The second highest overall riser in these recent rankings, Aidan jumped 40+ spots and is now the #4 overall WR. This comes after I was able to watch him live a few times this spring in both workouts and 7v7 competition where he lights out in both performances.

What stands out most about Aidan’s game is his route running ability. He can push vertical, stem his routes and make crisp cuts/breaks. He burst out from the LOS and knows how to feint movements using deceptive head movements and change speed during his route to set up defenders. He will stick his foot in the ground and go when it’s time to get open and create separation from the DB. Aidan also displays strong hands, able to pluck it out of the air & go up and high point it, capable of making the spectacular catch. Aidan is a dynamic playmaker who I can see really making an impact out of the slot for SFA this season.

5’10, 160 pounds. currently a sophomore at Mt. Zion Prep Academy. The type of athlete who could easily align at DB or safety in a setting like this one. Served as an awesome wideout target for Denari Hill Denari Hill 6'4" | 180 lbs | QB St. Frances Academy | 2027 State MD and company.

I’d argue Aidan Durham Aidan Durham 5'10" | 165 lbs | WR Suitland | 2028 MD would be a Top Ten worthy candidate on this list had FLEW Elite gotten further in our tournament. An MVP caliber player who was damn near unguardable at all three levels of the field. Crossers, slants, corner routes, you name it, Durham was running crisp routes and losing defenders left and right. Durham, thanks to fantastic burst off the LOS and tempo deployed throughout his routes, was open early and late for Denari Hill Denari Hill 6'4" | 180 lbs | QB St. Frances Academy | 2027 State MD , was just a matter of finding him. I fully understand why Durham is ranked as high as he is after watching him work in person.

A rising junior who had Coach Overton impressed was Mount Zion Prep receiver Aidan Durham. Durham was already a top ranked prospect in the Maryland 2027 class with 90th overall ranking, he was a beast during the 1vs1 session. You can tell he has been playing this game for a long time the way he high points a football. Durham has game changing speed too, would be nice to see him in a Saint James uniform next fall.

Durham showed flashes of solid route running during the 1v1 session. He was able to get inside leverage against press coverage in multiple matchups.  During one rep, he was able to get open on a corner route due to the defensive back’s slow transition. Durham needs to be more consistent at beating tight coverage and taking advantage of space that defenders give him in 1v1 situations.

Durham was at the top of this class with 400+ receiving yards and 6 touchdowns on the season. National Christian used Durham mainly in the slot but put him position to exploit his strengths. He was used as a deep threat, in the screen game to show off his agility and shifty ball carrying skills, and even put up an impressive kick return. Durham transferred to Mt. Zion Prep, but I expect for his production to increase with the rise in competitive competition.
