Sandbulte lists outside linebacker and running back as his positions on his Hudl page. When we pop on his junior highlight video, we see a versatile defender capable of delivering wherever he lines up. That can be on any of the three levels depending in the defensive formation. Based on scheme, Sandbulte looks best suited for linebacker or safety. His back pedal and change of direction are fluid, making him solid in coverage. Sandbulte seeks out big hits and often hands them out.

Xavier players are sound fundamentally and play with a high degree of toughness. Hoffman fits that mold while also adding versatility and athleticism. As a junior in 2024, he rushed for 1,278 yards (6.5 YPC) and 11 touchdowns, caught 23 passes for 196 yards and a score, and completed his only two passes, one of which went for a TD. We can witness the potential while watching his junior highlight video. He can be both electric and powerful with the ball in his hands. Hoffman's cutting ability, speed and acceleration make him a productive running back and are skills that could work at other positions.

Hailing from a program with a long history of developing college prospects, Gillies is a weapon defensively thanks to his versatility and athleticism. In the first clip on his junior highlight video, Gillies lines up off the edge and picks off a pass. The next play shows him setting up at safety and intercepting a throw. It's a wide array of plays with him attacking from all levels and angles. Twenty five of his 31.5 tackles last season were of the solo variety. He also finished with three interceptions.

You can picture Williams on either side of the ball in college after watching his junior highlight video. He's a big play waiting to happen in all three phases. Williams delivers while carrying the ball, whether on a return or making people miss after taking the handoff. He shows a good feel as a running back, patiently allowing blocks to set up and running to the opening. Williams also looks comfortable lining up in the secondary, where he fits best as a safety. He can cover or lower the boom.

Grete did a little bit of everything for the Tigers in 2024. He caught a touchdown, played soundly in the secondary, and returned kicks and punts. The flexibility is present because of his athleticism and willingness to mix it up. As we see during his junior highlight video, he is intriguing as a defender. He lines up at corner, safety and outside linebacker, moving seamlessly from position to position. Grete could end up on that side of the ball, but he also shows promise at slot receiver. He operates well across the middle of the field with good speed and crisp routes. A broken arm limited him to six games in 2024.

Shoen's junior highlight video reveals a student-athlete that you can tell loves the game. He plays with great energy and physicality. Most of the clips show his versatility on defense. Shoen lines up as a slot corner and deep safety. He looks more than capable against the pass and run. Shoen prepares by watching film, and it shows in how he diagnoses plays quickly and flies to the football. It led to 47 solo tackles and two interceptions last season. He added eight receptions for 126 yards, lining up in the slot and using his speed.
