Sandbulte lists outside linebacker and running back as his positions on his Hudl page. When we pop on his junior highlight video, we see a versatile defender capable of delivering wherever he lines up. That can be on any of the three levels depending in the defensive formation. Based on scheme, Sandbulte looks best suited for linebacker or safety. His back pedal and change of direction are fluid, making him solid in coverage. Sandbulte seeks out big hits and often hands them out.
