Ennis came on the scene strong as a major piece of the Bulldogs' offense this past season. On the season, Ennis rushed for 834 yards and 6 touchdowns, nearly rushing for 8 yards per carry. Ennis received a good bit of work in the playoffs for the Bulldogs as well - that kind of trust in a freshman is rare to see. Ennis runs with good speed and power balance and has excellent vision. From a recruiting perspective, Ennis has already received offers from Charlotte, East Carolina, and Virginia Tech. Expect those offers to continue to come as Ennis starts getting to some camps and shows what he can do in person.

John was an All-Conference selection for the Raiders last season as he did a great job in carrying the load for a program that lost its starting quarterback relatively early in the season to injury. On the year, John rushed for 922 yards and had 8 rushing touchdowns, excellent production for a freshman overall. From a recruiting perspective, John has had some local ACC school interest, but as he starts to get out to some camps to the first time as a high school prospect, I'd expect that interest to exponentially increase for sure. John's physical stature as a freshman is impressive and allowed him to run with good strength and pick up additional yardage through some weak tackle attempts at the 2nd and 3rd levels of the defense.

We could have easily put Teo in the ATH category because he does a ton of things for the Princeton program as a defensive back and a kick returner. But, when you have the 4th most rushing yardage in the nation as a freshman per MaxPreps, we wanted to highlight Teo as a player with the ball in his hands first and foremost. Teo lines up at the quarterback position, but Princeton is creative in mixing formations in order to create advantages for Teo to run crazy on defenses. For the season, Teo rushed for 1739 yards and 27 touchdowns - that is absolutely amazing production. Teo as a player, his best trait is his speed, however he has some impressive core strength too that allows him to break tackles in the open field.

When I saw Ja'Mari the first time, it was in a preseason jamboree and I kept trying to figure out who this kid was, because I knew the North Meck roster pretty well. Once I learned that he was a freshman, I was blown away. Ja'Mari does an excellent job in squeezing through the smallest of gaps at the line of scrimmage and using good vision and short space agility. Ja'Mari has good speed in the open field, and I am excited to see how he grows as he continues to get stronger physically.

Even though the Union program had a tough season, they produced a major bright spot in Tobias, who had a great statistical season for a freshman. On the season, Tobias rushed for 1077 yards and 5 touchdowns, with 6 games of over 100 yards rushing. I'd like to see Tobias get out to some camps to help get his name out there, because he plays in an area that a lot of coaches and media don't get to see very often. But, whenever you have someone producing like this in spite of being the only offensive threat - it usually speaks to some special talent and efforts as an individual.
