Ziglar is as explosive an athlete as you’ll find at the running back position. But his impact isn’t just limited to running the ball. He caught five passes for over 150 yards last season and had a kickoff return for a touchdown that ended up being the key play in a win over Apex. ZIglar has homerun speed and ability were on full display to start his freshman year. Now fully healthy, Ziglar’s ceiling is high in 2025.

He had over 100 yards on just five carries in his high school debut against Middle Creek, then had the game-winning kick return a week later against Apex. Fuquay-Varina seems content to ease him in, but his upside is tantalizing after just two games.
