Ranked as a wideout/DB, solid debut rank for a kid coming off of our watch list. Has some solid self-reported track times (11.3 100M, 44-6 TJ, 21-5 LJ, 4.5 40). Older brother plays at Kutztown. Has a three-minute sophomore tape on Hudl. Guers opens up tape winning post-outside release and striding downfield past a DB with ease. Is a nine-route winner inside of 40+ yards. Can win inside and out, as well as short/intermediate or deep. Build is a plus, yet Guers proves on tape that he can be a weapon as a punt return man, a testament to his playmaking ability at 6'3. A vacuum inside of 15 yards, good scheme recognition post-snap, so Guers understands when to break off routes early and/or sit in zones. The young man has serious potential at safety as well. Would love to know more about multi-sport capabilities, as well as current grades. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On our watch list last season, his six-minute tape did enough to elevate him off said watch list. Notre Dame Green Pond loves to dish the rock through the air, Bodnar and company love to spread the love, so Lawless II gets his fair share of targets even as a sophomore in this offense. Primarily a LOS hitch/screen option, a fantastic dump option for the QB. Lawless II can turn a check down at the LOS into first downs thanks to solid COD capability. Can stay balanced post-cut, has a good inside release move that he shows off on tape, he creates separation here consistently. Soft hands too. Not ideal for a collegiate prospect early on, but you can see Giddiens' growth. Fine considering Giddiens is just a sophomore. Giddiens' record-breaking sophomore campaign certainly alleviates any worries. 3.0 GPA. Can double as a wideout/DB at Cheltenham.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Posted a four-minute tape on Hud. Does a great job winning contested catches despite not being a pure physical presence. Strong hands, great body control, great hand-eye coordination. Coupled with Top Five QB prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1181600' first='Kendall' last='Jackson'], in this spread offense, I can envision Giddiens carving up defenses at all three levels for years to come. DB reps are icing on the cake. Giddiens' ability to catch ball above his head and/or below the waist make me feel like this is a future collegiate wideout, one who can be utilized at the LOS as well as in the intermediate/deep zones out of the slot position. Has a history with T&amp;F and basketball at State College. Received a Division II grade from myself after watching his sophomore tape, always subject to change. Hudl conveys that [player_tooltip player_id='1398294' first='Anderson' last='Fry'] has a history with baseball too. Has two separate tapes, one showcasing his two-way reps at WR and DB, another showcasing his efforts on special teams. I applaud this distinction, especially as a young developing prospect. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Plunging in Fry's first tape, the majority of Fry's better reps come through JV play, so I have to take a lot of his evaluation with a grain of salt, I would like coaches and Fry to do so as well. Some reps come under the lights. I expect Fry to see an elevated role so long as he continues working and developing this offseason. Gateway's [player_tooltip player_id='1184441' first='Julian' last='Dancear'] posted a four-minute tape, tape that landed him inside the Top 400. A modest ranking for a player with room for potential growth. Doubles as a WR and a DB. First rep is a quality one, yet on special teams. We see Dancear work an in route from the slot, the slot looking like a comfortable alignment for the sophomore. Has some good DB reps on tape, ones that show promising when projecting him to a larger role at Gateway. Tape lacks splash and serious production. There are a few instances that draw my attention, yet Dancear is going to stay low on our ranks until he can prove he can be a serious producer at Gateway.
