Who Will Raise Their Stock In 2025?

With the New Year brings new names, opportunities and talent. Below are a handful of athletes that I think are positioning themselves for a major rise in stock in 2025.    Ron'Dre was one of our top performers last month at the Stock Up Showcase. He moves incredibly well and had the nice testing numbers to back it up. On film, you see that athleticism really translate. First thing I noticed is his ability to give a cushion and then close the gap immediately. Typically he is able to jump the route for a pick or PBU. Next I noticed his prowess in the return game. He can take back a punt every time he gets the ball. His vision and ability to accelerate makes him incredibly hard to slow down. I am excited for what this kid could do for his stock this summer and during the season!     Preston got on my radar about halfway through the 2024 season after the teams hot start. I knew Howell was a run heavy squad but after watching the film, I am really impressed with what Preston can do through the air. I like his ability to scan the field and deliver throws on time and confidently. He showed last season his ability to be a leader and be a big piece of a great team. I think last season he started to crack a lot of radars, but this offseason he has the chance to really explode heading into his senior year!     Lukas was one of the biggest stock risers on my personal board in 2024. I knew he was capable of being a great 2 way player, but I wasn't sure the magnitude. He proved he can be elite playing both ways. Defensively he was able to shred through blockers to make TFLs and big time hits. Offensively I came away really impressed with his vision, patience and power. He scans the defense well and is able to exploit any weakness and when he hits the hole, it takes a lot more than arm tackles to bring him down. I loved the way he constantly fell forward and took extra yards time after time. He secured a D1 offer and I wouldn't be shocked if some D2s really made a big push for him as well. I think Boman is in for an enormous jump in stock across the recruiting landscape.     Much like his brother, Griffin absolutely boomed in my eyes. He has also received a D1 offer and I totally see why. Defensively he was a tackling machine, but he really impressed me offensively. He's a selfless player who did a ton of dirty work like lead blocking. When he did have the ball, he also showed off a good amount of strength. There were a lot of times where he had a bit more contact balance than I had previously seen and he looked really comfortable on inside runs or outside runs in the open field. I could see him having a big time 2025 season and really blowing up his recruiting!     Fresh off of a surgery, there's a chance a lot of people have forgotten how dominant of a player this kid can be. Maximus is a DE/TE with elite size and physical traits. He can catch or block and line up just about anywhere, which is a huge advantage for a TE. Defensively he's a high effort and high motor kid with long arms and the ability to pull mutiple moves. There isn't a ton of film out there, but with his elite characteristics, I think this could be a sleeper for a giant boost to his stock.     After watching his full season highlights, I am convinced that there are too many coaches missing the boat with Ethan. On tape I see an underrated dual threat QB with the ability to extend plays, throw on the run or go pick up a first down with his legs. Also on multiple plays he was able to take designed QB runs for big gains with his solid vision and very good athleticism. I really think he has some special arm talent and has the physical tools to be molded into a solid QB. I think D3s should be all over this type of athlete.     I know Nate has a lot of hype on the recruiting trail, but I think 2025 is his season to shine. On tape you can see a kid with great arm talent and the ability that will translate nicely to the next level. I liked what I saw in terms of throw power, accuracy and his overall mechanics. He has a great throwing motion and his timing on his release is impeccable. I think there are a ton of QBs that struggle with hitting all parts of the field and can favor some routes more than others, but I don't get that sense with Nate at all. As far as I can tell, Nate can hit any route at any part of the field and with his weapons and coaching behind him, there's a lot of hope that Rocheleau could raise his stock to all new heights.
