After leading the Lions to the 3A State Championship, Jamouri saw a strong rise in our rankings. The Lions played some tough teams on the way to the title, and Jamouri's poise and confidence in making some big-time throws to the Lions' talented skill players in some major pressure situations was the difference in pulling out some tough wins. Jamouri threw for 2633 yards and 29 touchdowns on the season while adding 600 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns. On top of that, Jamouri was named the MVP of the State Championship Game. Jamouri also picked up his first college offer from Johnson C. Smith University. I think he earned this recognition, right?

Cam had a productive season as a varsity starter, throwing for 1,550 passing yards and 9 touchdowns in the season. Cam is definitely a pocket-style quarterback, but he possesses the traits that college coaches like to work for in these types of players. Cam has good fundamentals, a smooth throwing motion, and a strong arm that can attack all areas of the field already. I saw Cam in a postseason showcase, and he definitely has some good football in his future. Cam picked up his first college offer from New Mexico earlier this offseason, and he should continue to see recruiting attention come his way.

This young dual-threat quarterback had a great season in leading Ashbrook to a double-digit winning season and the 3rd round of the state playoffs, some places the Green Wave have not been in a long time. On the season, AJ threw for 1069 yards and 13 touchdowns while rushing for an additional 361 yards and 4 touchdowns in an offense with multiple good rushing options. I saw AJ live this season, and his running ability is special - he is most dangerous in passing situations now vs. designed runs, because in those scramble situations in the open field, with his speed and vision, AJ is able to make some off-schedule big plays on a routine basis. I'm excited to see him in the next two years as he continues to grow.

Troy had an excellent season in leading Charlotte Latin to one of their best seasons in many years with an 8-3 overall record. Troy had a big hand in their success, as he threw for 2385 yards and 25 touchdowns while rushing for 3 more on top of that. Troy was named as an All-Conference player in probably the best private school league in the state of North Carolina. Troy's accuracy and arm strength were very impressive on film, and his leadership in leading Charlotte Latin to an 8-0 start to the season was great to see. I'm excited to see how he and this program attempt to take the next step in competing against the best private schools in the state.

In leading Harnett Central to their best overall season since 2010, Koby had some great production from the pocket. Koby had 2237 passing yards, 31 touchdown passes, and completed 65 percent of his passes. It appears Koby's top two receivers are returning from an 8-3 overall team, so there is the potential for an even bigger season from Koby. The most impressive I like about Koby's film is when he is in rhythm in the pocket and not pressured, everything is smooth and he delivers the football with nice accuracy and touch. He looks in command from the pocket with high confidence. Koby also shows the ability to move within the pocket when pressured and keep his eyes downfield to make big throws.
