2028s You Don’t Know…Yet

His first few highlights show off his solid athletic ability. Whether it be throwing on the run or just escaping the pocket entirely and getting downfield, Liam definitely frustrates defenses. His film also shows some really nice ball placement and anticipation of where the ball needs to be. His arm strength seems to be pretty solid and everything I see tells me he has a great foundation to build on. Already standing at 6'4 and possessing a big arm, Reid is ahead of a lot of 2028 QBs. I noticed pretty quickly how well he sees the field. He scans the field and delivers the ball quickly and precisely. He has pretty good touch, and his poise in the pocket allows plays to develop and allows his receivers to get open on deep routes. He's an overall athletic kid who has highlights from this season both as a pass catcher and at the QB position. When in the backfield, most of his highlights were of him pulling the all and running, and he showed off good vision and ability to run through some tackles. Out wide, Beyer is able to use his big frame and long arms to have a big time catch radius and pull in difficult catches. It looks like he is a solid 2 way player who stood out in multiple aspects. First, I really liked the way Drew tracks the ball. Both offensively and defensively, he shows tremendous ball skill and concentration to come down with some impressive catches or picks. His release is nice and it seems like he is running solid routes. In short, Antonio is a reactive kid with the ability to shed blockers and get downhill. He showed at our Showcase how agile he is and the way he can change direction on a dime. He is going to thrive in this run heavy offense Reed City is known to run. Going through his highlights, I came away incredibly impressed with his burst and acceleration at the RB position. He hits the hole hard and has the breakaway speed to get through all 3 levels in the blink of an eye. His vision is above average and he already has a pretty nasty stiff arm in his bag. Defensively he seems to read and react well and is able to play the ball. He has a low center of gravity and he plays the game at a really high pace. He can cut on a dime and has the ability to get through arm tackles with ease. Mixed in with his speed and agility, I also noticed a few times where he should have been wrapped up but he just bounces off and continues to gain yards. His arm strength is coming around, and his accuracy was impressive. His technique, footwork and throwing motion are extremely advanced for a freshman.
