Expert Analysis
Sam Erman | Prep Redzone Scout
Berry has a long, well-built frame with solid thickness and room to continue developing physically. His footwork is controlled and efficient, allowing him to stay balanced through his delivery. He shows the ability to vary arm angles and still generate clean throws, fitting the ball into tight windows when needed. The combination of size, mechanics, and creativity as a passer gives him intriguing upside moving forward.

Reid is one of the highest upside guys on this list. He passes the eye test and has the measurables, and has shown the determination and hard work it takes to keep getting better. He has really solid arm strength, and sees the field extremely well. The Grand Haven QB has plenty of intangibles along with the physical tools, giving him one of the highest ceilings in this class. I’m excited to see what he can do over the offseason to continue to raise his stock in 2026!

Reid had himself a productive sophomore season, and he’s looking like the clear-cut Varsity QB1 for Grand Haven next year.
In my opinion, Reid is the highest-upside QB on this list. Watch his highlight tape, and you’ll see incredible arm talent. Plays like 0:17 showcase Reid’s quick trigger and great downfield accuracy. He tosses the ball 30+ yards downfield with ease. In the short-intermediate areas of the field, Reid is able to throw the ball on a frozen rope.
Time will tell how Reid will fare as the full-time varsity starter. I feel that as long as Reid works hard this offseason with no setbacks, he should have a great Junior season.

Reid plays similarly to Grand Haven’s senior QB,

Reid has a big arm and isn’t afraid to use it. His tape is full of accurate deep balls and intermediate throws over the middle. Just like Luke, I love Reid’s highlights. He’s able to sling it with great accuracy from the pocket. The thing that will make or break Reid’s career is his IQ. Last season I watched Luke in person. While I still loved his arm talent, I thought his IQ was severely lacking. Reid needs to find a way to make few mistakes.
