I have thought a lot of Qualteau since seeing him as a freshman last year show some athletic ability and be productive as a Varsity tight end - one of the hardest positions for high school freshmen to come in and be ready to play. Qualteau is an athletic player who excels as a receiver in the passing game - he is fast for his size and can split out wide and win against smaller corners. He also wins against linebackers and safeties in the slot, and he is a good mismatch overall. Qualteau picked up his first offer recently from Virginia Tech and has received interest from other Power 4 schools. Qualteau was also named All-Conference for his production & play this past season.

Troy's head coach recommended we check him out, and I have to say I'm very impressed with what Troy has put on film so far. He is definitely an under the radar prospect poised to break out big next season at both tight end and defensive end/EDGE. The reason why is simple - Troy is a great athlete with his size, and he moves with impressive fluidity in his game on both sides of the ball. Troy knows how to find holes in the middle of the field already as a tight end, and shows soft hands catching the ball. Troy can win jump balls on the outside, and he has good speed to run away from slower defenders in man coverage. Troy also shows some pass rushing skills as an EDGE, so it will be interesting to see where he ends up as he progresses in his career, but for how well he moves, I like his future at the tight end spot. Troy also already sports an impressive 3.6 GPA.

Taking a look at Randolph's highlights was fun - the first clip shows him making an incredible one-handed catch in the corner of the end zone that shows his strong hands obviously and concentration/focus. Randolph runs some good routes and isn't afraid to go over the middle of the field to make tough catches in traffic. Randolph isn't what I would call a super fast player, but he knows how to create separation and does that well from both the slot and outside receiver positions. Randolph picked up his first two offers from Troy and East Carolina earlier this month. With a 3.6 GPA, he should see many more opportunities come his way.

Ryyan made his first All-Conference team this past season for Overhills, and he had some nice production for them. For the season Ryyan caught 49 passes for 775 yards, which the yardage led the team, along with 13 touchdowns, which easily led the team in overall touchdowns. His Twitter profile says he runs a 4.4 40 yard dash, which his verification as a speed threat is backed up by his highlight film. There are several highlights of Ryyan just flat running past corners after he closes the cushion on fly routes. But Ryyan can also excel in the quick screen game and on short routes with some impressive run-after-the-catch ability. Ryyan has a quick twitch ability to get to top speed quickly, and this really bodes well for him to be a major playmaker for Overhills over the next two seasons.

After seeing Chanse live this past season, I really like his game as a compliment to [player_tooltip player_id='1240397' first='Dominic' last='Morin'] in the Mooresville offense, and overall as a player who can play both out of the slot and on the outside as a receiver. In only 10 games this past season, Chanse had 33 catches for 496 yards and 2 touchdowns - that is good production for a team who had a good run in the state playoffs. Chanse shows good quickness with the ball in his hands and he is not afraid to operate in the middle of the field or in the quick screen game. Chanse is also a willing blocker in the running game. I think he can break out even more next season with so many other guys returning on a Blue Devils offense that was very strong last season.

I had the chance to see Zaylen live last season, and he is able to make some plays against man coverage. Zaylen has some good speed and has some agility with the ball in his hands. Zaylen can create separation running his routes and shows some reliable hands catching the ball downfield especially. For the season, Zaylen had 17 catches, however, as he continues to grow physically I think he can easily double that production going into next season. Zaylen can also be a threat as a kick/punt returner on Special Teams. I had a chance to speak with Zaylen after an East Mecklenburg victory this past season.

In a good offense with a number of different threats, Juelz was able to show some good production this past season. Juelz finished the year with 32 catches for 364 yards and 4 touchdowns for the season. Looking at the film, Juelz can operate both outside and in the slot, and shows some good awareness and route running in going over the middle of the field especially. Juelz knows how to find open holes in zone coverage and is also a threat as a kick returner on Special Teams. I am excited to see his continued development over the next two years.
