As I wrote back in a previous article, Chanse has a big opportunity to breakout in a big way in the Mooresville offense this upcoming season. Chanse produced good numbers last season in an offense that had a lot of proven targets and college-level talent. A lot of that talent has graduated, but Chanse returns as a proven player that can get it done in the passing game. Chanse has excellent speed and agility with the football in his hands, and he can get it done as a screen threat, or down the field as a deep threat using both of those athletic skills to his advantage. Chanse has recently picked up his first offer from Old Dominion, and is receiving interest from multiple other college football programs as well.

Chanse is a player I really like for a number of reasons. He operates very well out of the slot and shows he isn’t afraid to go over the middle and make tough catches for the Blue Devils’ offense. Chanse is also a multi-sport player, showing his overall agility and athleticism in his game. Mooresville loses a lot of production in the passing game to graduation, so a good futures bet is that he will see a major jump in targets and production. An All-Conference player, Chanse can win with speed and I really am excited to see the jump he makes this upcoming season.

Bost is following a trajectory that we love as a staff at Prep Redzone: he entered the rankings in January after a strong sophomore season, then continued to impress this spring, leading to a 15-spot jump in the rankings. He does a lot right, as a strong route-runner who can operate over the middle or make people miss after the catch.

After seeing Chanse live this past season, I really like his game as a compliment to

in the Mooresville offense, and overall as a player who can play both out of the slot and on the outside as a receiver. In only 10 games this past season, Chanse had 33 catches for 496 yards and 2 touchdowns – that is good production for a team who had a good run in the state playoffs. Chanse shows good quickness with the ball in his hands and he is not afraid to operate in the middle of the field or in the quick screen game. Chanse is also a willing blocker in the running game. I think he can break out even more next season with so many other guys returning on a Blue Devils offense that was very strong last season.
