Over 60 athletes from multiple states made their way to The Highlands Sports Complex in Triadelphia, WV on Sunday Night to compete at the 2nd Annual Winter Exposure Showcase. While it was a smaller camp, there was no shortage of talent on display at each position group from freshmen to seniors. Here are the quarterbacks who were named MVPs at the camp.

Our #2 quarterback in the 2026 class [player_tooltip player_id='402801' first='Braden' last='Wade'] of Linsly put his big arm on display at the Winter Exposure Showcase last night. The junior gunslinger took home QB MVP honors and excels in a camp setting every time we see him. Wade was in contention and possibly the favorite for the top arm strength out of a talented group of quarterbacks in attendance. He further showed he could make all of the throws as he's shown on game film the past two seasons and just wrapped up a solid junior season for the Cadets against one of the toughest schedules in the state where he threw for 2,000 yards and 16 touchdowns. Wade puts great velocity on his throws and can drive the ball with the best of them in the WV 2026 class.

A name unfamiliar to us in West Virginia but who made the long trek from New York and showed out at last night's camp was another 2026 QB in Shaker's [player_tooltip player_id='726060' first='Marcus' last='Snipes Jr']. Snipes and Wade were the top two passers in attendance in our eyes and had comparable traits to each other. He fit some passes into some tight windows during the goal line 1-on-1s portion of the camp with great ball placement. Snipes also has very fluid footwork and athletic which he could better show in a game environment compared to camp. He made several throws laying the ball over defenders right into his receivers' hands showing a very good combination of touch and velocity during the camp.

It's been nearly two years since we've seen 2027 Hedgesville QB [player_tooltip player_id='861657' first='Chaz' last='Milburn'] in person and his frame is night and day different. That's to be expected as the last time we saw the sophomore he was wowing coaches prior to his freshman season. He looks like a different kid physically now and that's going to translate to more success on the field in time. Milburn does a nice job anticipating throws and hitting his receivers on time and in stride. He was another quarterback at camp who could stretch the field vertically as well. Milburn took our early #1 QB ranking during the summer and still has that ceiling if he continues to develop over the next two years.

We heard a lot of good things about 2028 Capital QB [player_tooltip player_id='1166650' first='Peyton' last='Grigsby'] as a middle schooler while heading into high school this off-season and you could see why at the Winter Exposure Showcase. Grigsby unseated a two-year starter at quarterback for Capital this season as a freshman and has a very bright future for the position. The arm talent was obvious throughout the night for a young QB just wrapping up his first taste of high school football and the ball jumped off his hand. The most exciting part of his game is that he's still very much raw mechanically, especially in his footwork which will only take his game to the next level as he continues to improve and develop over the next three years.

Record-breaking and long-time Westside quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='907153' first='Kadien' last='Vance'] made the long trip up north to compete at the Winter Exposure Showcase, and it was worth it for him as he took home QB MVP honors. Vance stood out right away as the most physically impressive quarterback in attendance in the 6'3 190 range. He's known as a runner but had his best season yet as a passer throwing for 2,300 yards and 28 touchdowns to just 5 interceptions while completing 67% of his passes and has steadily improved as a passer over his career. Vance had a solid performance during the camp, and a D2 program could build a system around his dual-threat ability as a power runner with the potential to move positions in college as well if he wants to.
