Record-breaking and long-time Westside quarterback Kadien Vance Kadien Vance 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Westside | 2025 State WV made the long trip up north to compete at the Winter Exposure Showcase, and it was worth it for him as he took home QB MVP honors. Vance stood out right away as the most physically impressive quarterback in attendance in the 6’3 190 range. He’s known as a runner but had his best season yet as a passer throwing for 2,300 yards and 28 touchdowns to just 5 interceptions while completing 67% of his passes and has steadily improved as a passer over his career. Vance had a solid performance during the camp, and a D2 program could build a system around his dual-threat ability as a power runner with the potential to move positions in college as well if he wants to.

Another 2025 quarterback who has been lighting up the scoreboard during the first three weeks of the season is Westside’s Kaiden Vance. The record-setting passer has the Renegades 3-0 for the first time since 2014 when his head coach was setting all of the records that he is now breaking. Vance is a big and impressive athlete who has gotten it done through the air and on the ground this season as a physically imposing dual-threat. The multi-year starter is thriving in the Renegades’ system that has been built around him and has his team in a position to make the playoffs for the first time since 2015.

Vance is a well-rounded athlete with the speed to run past you and the power to run through you. He also has the arm strength to beat defenses over the top when they get sucked in by the Westside running game.

The Renegades relied on his legs in the tough 21-20 win as he carried the ball 30 times for 177 yards a touchdown while also throwing for 142 yards and another score. Vance is just an all around impressive athlete with good size who could carry Westside to some big things this season.

2025 Westside QB Kadien Vance Kadien Vance 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Westside | 2025 State WV began his senior season with a bang with a huge performance against Wyoming East that will be difficult to top this season. Vance threw for 200 yards and 5 touchdowns as the Renegades aired it out, but he also got it done with his legs. The 6’3 quarterback added two more scores on the ground and scored twice more to total 7 touchdowns on the night in the 59-6 win.
