Snipes was one of the best quarterbacks in attendance, and it showed throughout some of GC Motion’s games. The arm talent is there, but on a 40-foot field, you don’t get to see a ton of throws by anyone that stretches the field. Where Snipes Jr. stood out was his anticipation. Snipes was able to throw guys open in addition to targeting soft areas in zone coverage by making throws will zero hesitation – too many guys all weekend were afraid to pull the trigger when coverage was tight, Snipes was letting it fly all weekend.

Recently picked up his first FBS offer out of Southern Mississippi this week. 6’0, 175 pounds. 3.2 GPA.

Currently ranked as the sixth-best junior passer in New York, will likely see a bump after the stamp of approval via Southern Miss. Hearing that Snipes hardly threw an incompletion at his last 7v7 event. Snipes threw for 28 scores in six games, working with wideouts that he had little chemistry with. Snipes will likely be one of the better quarterbacks at this event. Excited to see him up close again, I recall watching him dominate an event I went to about two years ago.

A name unfamiliar to us in West Virginia but who made the long trek from New York and showed out at last night’s camp was another 2026 QB in Shaker’s Marcus Snipes Jr Marcus Snipes Jr 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Shaker | 2026 NY . Snipes and Wade were the top two passers in attendance in our eyes and had comparable traits to each other. He fit some passes into some tight windows during the goal line 1-on-1s portion of the camp with great ball placement. Snipes also has very fluid footwork and athletic which he could better show in a game environment compared to camp. He made several throws laying the ball over defenders right into his receivers’ hands showing a very good combination of touch and velocity during the camp.
