Uncovered Gems #15 - OAA Red Offense #3

Here it is- the LAST article in a long time covering the OAA Red. Over the past several days, we took a look at dozens of new prospects from the Red. Here, we'll be taking a look at five more offensive players ready to take a big step up next season.    Considering Hayden's size, he obviously has amazing upside. Plus, his tape is quite good.   For one, Hayden moves far better than a lot of super tall linemen. Especially for someone who's still pretty slim, I'm impressed with his overall footwork and balance. 0:32 is an excellent example of this- Hayden initially blocks the defender in front of him, then moves to block the blitzing DB, all in a pretty smooth motion. The very next play (0:38) shows a pretty great second-level block. Always love seeing a lineman drive a linebacker back 5+ yards.   I see that Hayden recently earned an offer from Eastern Michigan- and I'm not shocked in the slightest. He's way more polished than the majority of 6'8" linemen, and just needs to bulk up before he's D1 ready.      Daniel has very solid tape! He's a good dual threat, consistently running the ball well alongside a few promising passes.   1:05 is the first play I'll mention- Daniel gets the ball out quickly and completes the quick slant. Promising throw. Then, at 1:48, he completes a well-timed out route as he's rolling outside of the pocket. Plays like 2:12 and 0:15 are examples of his best runs- doesn't have blazing speed but he's a hard runner.   Good season, and I am looking forward to seeing how Daniel grows heading into his Senior Season.      Although he's not on Varsity quite yet, Connor's JV tape makes me confident that he'll grow into a phenomenal Varsity football player.   His tape starts out with a few solid deep routes- showing decent speed and excellent ball tracking. His routes overall aren't super crisp, but that's understandable for a freshman. Still, good ball tracking, good speed, and a great offensive playmaker.   Connor is also a big threat in the return game- 1:25 shows a punt return TD. Then, at 1:36, Connor (as a RB) scores a great TD from a leftside pitch.   Swiss army knife as a Freshman, I'm looking forward to seeing what Connor is eventually able to accomplish on Varsity.      I'm pretty sure every single Clarkston offensive lineman put out in-season highlights- and big props to them.   I don't think Bodie is very tall (no H/W listed) but MAN does he play like he's 6'6. His first highlight is Bodie executing a simple base block, but he ends up pushing the (college prospect) DT into a man, tripping him. Second, an awesome down block and pancake on that same Belleville DT. Then, there are plays like 0:26 where Bodie executes a combo block to perfection. Not only does he execute that combo block, but he blocks through the whistle with excellent physicality.   I suspect that Bodie's size will limit his recruitment, but dang, Bodie is a great high school lineman.      Jaxson is an extremely intriguing QB prospect at West Bloomfield.   I don't know if he'll start on Varsity next season, but he does look like he'll be the best pocket passer in 2025. His first highlight is a very accurate deep ball from the pocket. Second, another great deep shot from the pocket against Rochester Adams. Finally, at 1:14, Jaxson throws an excellent ball on a hitch route. Great timing, throw power, and accuracy there.   The question is- can Jaxson outperform the competition this offseason? I know that West Bloomfield has a long history of dual-threat QBs, and Jaxson could break that trend.
