Expert Analysis
Ryan Graham | Prep Redzone Scout
Jaxson came to camp ready to put his talents on display and he did just that. Jaxson tested out in the top of the group in his shuttle and broad jump. As impressive as that was his work in individual quarterback work and the one on one portion of camp is what really moved the needle for me. Jaxson showed incredible arm strength and proved there was not one throw on the field he can not make. When windows closed he was able to drive balls to the wide receivers and in tight coverage situations was able to put incredible touch on the ball. Jaxson walked away Sunday with a Davenport offer and my guess is the offer list will continue to grow as the summer wears on.

I have evaluated Jaxson recently, but I can’t emphasize enough just how undervalued he really is. Great frame, superior arm and great decision making are hard to find, and finding them in one spot is even harder. He doesn’t struggle anywhere in particular. He’s poised, can make throws to every part of the field, and can move and buy time when necessary. There’s not many quarterbacks in our state with this high of a ceiling, but Jaxson could prove to be that guy this fall.

Size. Skill. Intangibles. Jaxson has started to develop into the full package! He stands tall in the pocket, scanning the field and making quick and confident decisions. He has the big arm, and can hit the deep ball accurately. The velocity on his short and intermediate throws was on the money, and he was hitting them with great timing. His mechanics are fluid, with not much wasted movement at all. He has a shot to put it all together this fall and have an off-the-charts season.

The work Carver has been putting in is paying off. He looks bigger and stronger, and that is translating to great arm strength and increased velocity. Super excited to see what 2026 can be for Jaxson!
-Great arm strength, was able to push the ball downfield, and with great accuracy
-Good timing, hitting guys right out of their breaks and delivering it right on the money
-Good mechanics, not much wasted movement, especially on short drops

- Verified 6’2″.25, 190lbs
- Can launch the ball. Live arm.
- Promising testing numbers. Can be a real college dual-threat if he keeps improving athletically.
- If Jaxson is West Bloomfield’s QB1 this season, he will have the opportunity to earn college attention.
- I’ve learned that height is a MAJOR factor to most colleges. Can make or break your recruitment. Jaxson has the necessary height to earn college attention much easier.
- Will likely get a slight rankings boost when it comes to the QB position. May fall in the rankings due to 325+ players being added.
