The Bixby Spartans were playing in the state championship game for the eleventh consecutive season. The Spartans were looking for their seventh consecutive state championship and their tenth title in the last eleven trips. They faced top-ranked Owasso and took down the Rams 43-42 in an overtime classic. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='255022' first='Cooper' last='Parker'] would score the game-winning two point conversion in overtime to make sure the Spartan dynasty would continue. Check out the full championship game highlights below.

And now, we take a look at the ten standouts from the state championship game. Five guys from the champs in Bixby and five guys (kinda) from Owasso. Both teams played outstanding football so we have plenty of standouts from both sides of this memorable championship clash.

[player_tooltip player_id='415161' first='Braeden' last='Presley'] - Junior Wide Receiver - Bixby

There's something about these state championship games where Bixby's Presley brothers shine brightest. First it was Brennan, then Braylin and now [player_tooltip player_id='415161' first='Braeden' last='Presley'] adds his name to the list from the first family of Bixby football. Presley would emerge as Bixby's top target in the passing game on Friday night and it wasn't just the numbers that he was able to produce, it was the level of difficulty and moment of the game that has us thinking that he's a star in the making. The Bixby junior finished with seven catches for 126 yards and a touchdown. That touchdown came with under two minutes to play and tied the game at 35. It was also a very difficult, over the shoulder catch in the end zone that helped the Spartans force overtime. Special.

[player_tooltip player_id='284114' first='Carson' last='Kirby'] - Junior Quarterback - Bixby

Bixby junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='284114' first='Carson' last='Kirby'] was ready for this match-up and we came away really impressed with him. We've watched Kirby a ton between the high school season and 7v7 in the offseason. His performance on Friday might have been the best we've seen from him. He was thrown a curveball from the start when he lost the top receiver in the offense. He still threw for well over 200 yards and two touchdowns on 19-25 passing. Kirby also had a rushing touchdown in the first half. When you look at Kirby from that week zero meeting with Owasso and the Kirby that we saw on Friday night, they are completely different players. He's been outstanding this season and should take a ton of momentum into the offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='255022' first='Cooper' last='Parker'] - Senior Quarterback/Linebacker - Bixby

Bixby senior two-way star [player_tooltip player_id='255022' first='Cooper' last='Parker'] has been an incredibly valuable part of what Bixby has done in the last two seasons and it was never more evident than overtime. Parker rumbled in from a few yards out and then the Spartans put the ball in his hands to win or lose the game and Parker got into the end zone once again to keep the Spartan dynasty alive and well. On his final carry of his high school career, Parker etched his name in the Bixby history books forever. Offensively, Parker was the team's leading rusher with just over 80 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries. He worked for everything he got. Defensively, he also finished with six tackles and is yet another Bixby linebacker that has been one of the best in Oklahoma during his time.

[player_tooltip player_id='414994' first='Cord' last='Nolan'] - Junior Linebacker - Bixby

Bixby junior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='414994' first='Cord' last='Nolan'] ended the 6A-1 title game as the team's leading tackler and was a man possessed on the defensive side of the ball. Now, Owasso was able to have success with their rushing attack but Nolan didn't make it easy on them. He finished the night with 13 tackles, one sack and a tackle for a loss. And we've said for a while now how we love the physicality of the Bixby linebackers and Nolan is just the latest example of that. When he hits you, you feel it, and he also forced a fumble on Friday night. Nolan is an explosive linebacker that has also been outstanding for the Spartans as a tight end this season. But on Friday night, it's all about what he was doing on the defensive side of the ball that got our attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='338550' first='Emory' last='Snyder'] - Junior Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Bixby

Bixby junior [player_tooltip player_id='338550' first='Emory' last='Snyder'] came into this game as one of our spotlight players on defense and he certainly lived up to the hype. But one part of Snyder's game and probably the most important on Friday night that might not be talked about came on the offensive side of the ball. Snyder was the lead blocker down the field on a BJ Jones touchdown. We went back and watched just that play alone and he was engaged with the Owasso defender for a little over 15 yards to get the freshman in the end zone. Snyder also had a solid night at the cornerback position, finishing the night with a handful of tackles and an interception. That's the second time Snyder has picked off a pass against the Rams this season after doing it back in week zero.

[player_tooltip player_id='1549987' first='Jayden' last='Hall'] - Junior Running Back - Owasso

If we had to give an MVP out for Owasso, it would have to be junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1549987' first='Jayden' last='Hall'] after he carried the ball a team-high 24 times for just over 200 yards and three touchdowns. He grabbed headlines early on in the night with the game's opening touchdown on a 72-yard score in the first quarter. Hall wasn't done there either as he had a solid night from start to finish. If Hall was at a different school, he might be a 1,500-2,000 yard running back but he is part of a very talented backfield and plays his role incredibly well. He's a powerful back that has shown that breakaway speed and he did it multiple times on Friday. In addition to the 72-yard score, he also had a 44-yard score halfway through the fourth quarter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1163613' first='Jaylon' last='Moll'] - Senior Defensive Back - Owasso

From the start of the season, following that week zero match-up with Bixby, we were sold on Owasso senior [player_tooltip player_id='1163613' first='Jaylon' last='Moll'] as one of the more underrated cornerbacks in the state's 2025 class. And as we've mentioned in the past, even earlier in the week in our state title preview coverage, Moll is getting overlooked as a prospect because of his height. He's listed on the roster at 5'8. But throw on the tape or watch Moll in person and you see an absolute dog at the cornerback position. Moll gave up some plays and didn't have a perfect game but he was also one of the more productive players for the Rams on the defensive side of the ball. He's going to make a program better at the next level, he just needs someone to take a chance.

[player_tooltip player_id='1045556' first='Jayson' last='Moll'] - Junior Running Back - Owasso

While Hall might have been the "thunder" for Owasso's rushing attack, fellow junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1045556' first='Jayson' last='Moll'] was the "lightning" on Friday night. Moll finished the night with 20 carries for 130 yards and a touchdown. That touchdown was explosive as he had the ball in the backfield, found an opening and exploded through it for a 49-yard touchdown run. That's what Moll has been all season as the Rams have had a legitimate three-headed monster at the running back position. And on Friday night, it was the Hall and Moll show as both of them were very successful in the run game. We're looking forward to seeing how both of them look next season with an offensive line that has to replace the majority of their starters.

[player_tooltip player_id='1575157' first='Ryker' last='Ogg'] - Senior Defensive Back - Owasso

Before the state championship game, we put out a set of previews, looking at ten players from Bixby and ten players from Owasso. Both teams are outstanding and you can clearly list more than ten players so there were some guys missing. One of the players that should have been listed was Owasso senior [player_tooltip player_id='1575157' first='Ryker' last='Ogg'] and it was pretty much obvious to us from the opening quarter. Ogg ended the game tied for the team lead in tackles and it just felt like he was flying all over the field from the start of the game and was always either making a tackle or near the play and helping out defensively. It was impressive to watch a player in a high-stakes, high-energy game seemingly never get tired and always be in the right place at the right time.

The Entire Owasso Offensive Line

This is something that we've done in the past but we have to do it one more time as the Rams would finish with over 50 carries as a team and finish with nearly 350 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. It was a pretty remarkable thing to watch as the Rams moved the ball methodically down the field on several possessions, specifically in the second half. This has been an offensive line that's been led by guys like [player_tooltip player_id='350246' first='Blake' last='Cherry'] and [player_tooltip player_id='350245' first='Ryker' last='Haff'] but other guys have been so critical as well. [player_tooltip player_id='1282795' first='Blake' last='Novotny'] and [player_tooltip player_id='587268' first='Brooks' last='Barron'] are two interior guys that have been essential to what the Rams do in the run game. That Owasso "bully ball" has been fun to watch and was fun to watch one last time in the state title game on Friday night.
