When you throw on the film for Merrell, you see a well-rounded defensive end who excels in both as a pass rusher and in run defense. He had an extremely productive junior season despite only playing 7.5 games earning first team all-district. I like Trent as a strongside defensive end at the college level. He's physical at the point of attack and uses heavy hands to standup opposing blockers. Once he has the blocker on his heels, he sheds and pursues. In the Panthers scheme Merrell routinely lines up in the 5 tech and even in the 3 tech. That being said I think he has the athleticism to push out wide and bend to play in space. He routinely shows the ability to pursue and rundown plays behind the line of scrimmage. The traits and the film align and I'm excited to see what this offseason holds for this talented 2026.

Nickerson is a spark plug on the defensive side of the ball. He had a very productive junior season for the Spartans. Brody had the third most tackles in the strong Eastern Cincinnati Conference and finished tied for third most sacks and tackles for a loss as well with 9 and 15.5. Nickerson is an explosive linebacker who has a very quick read and react. He takes great angles to the ball and aggressively attacks the alley's when running in pursuit. When he gets to the ball carrier arrives under control, but violent. When he blitzes on the pass rush, he does a great job of getting home. With his strong production and film, it's time he gets on the college recruiting radar.

At 6'3 Bush is a big receiving target for the Dragons. He's a long strider who can stretch the field. He has the speed to get deep and tracks the ball well and is a natural hands catcher. His breaks in his route running are subtle but sudden. When the play breaks down for the quarterback Braylon keeps his route alive giving his passer an available target. He has the body control and hands to go up and make the contested catch and to toe tap on the sidelines. As Braylon continues to fill out and get stronger, I think he'll add another level to his game as he'll be able to be physical and box out defenders when making plays on the ball. Any schools looking to recruit an offensive playmaker needs to take a look at Bush.

The junior cornerback has a nose for the ball as he finished tied for first in interceptions in the Greater Miami Conference with 4. Cornwall is comfortable in both press man and off in the bail technique. He has good feet and technique at the line of scrimmage. He has loose hips that are on a swivel. His ability mirror and run with receivers is impressive. He attacks the ball when it's in the air and many times he beats the wide receiver to the ball. In run support, Laaren is active and flies around to the ball. In early November Cornwall get an offer from Eastern Michigan University. I'd be surprised if he didn't continue to add offers this offseason.

Wolpert is a playmaking wide receiver for the Golden Bears. Wolpert is a polished route runner who also possesses the speed to run by defenders. He shows good ball skills and ability to adjust on the deep ball. On his shorter routes he does a great job at accelerating and running at his man forcing them to respect his deep speed and then breaking off his routes to create excellent separation. Some wide receivers just have a feel and an understanding for how to use leverage to create separation and Wolpert is one of those guys. Add into that plus speed and athleticism and he's a tough player for opposing defensive backs to deal with. In the run game Trent is a willing and aggressive blocker. I'd be very surprised if this talented junior did not begin to pick up some offers this offseason.
