Elite Defensive Prospects Earning First Offers

There were several prospects in the Buckeye State over the past week who earned their first offers after an in-person look during the college day circuit. The Class of 2027 recruit from Trotwood-Madison High School had four interceptions, 13 pass breakups and 21 tackles last year, flashing strength against the run and the pass. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound defensive end flashes great first step quickness and twitch. He can take on double team blocks, takes great angles to the QB and good angles to the ball. Jones, a high-academic Class of 2029 prospect, has a very high ceiling. The Class of 2027 recruit finally started picking up offers during his college day workout. Purcell flies to the football, flashes tremendous range and athletic ability, and is a proven open-field tackler who takes great pursuit angles.
