The highest ranked prospect from this feature is Johnson as the Panthers ball carrier moved into our Top 20 after displaying improved development through his off-season and in-season work. Committed to Mississippi St., Johnson is an explosive runner that defenders have a hard time dealing with due to his balance, shifty feet and overall speed. This Memphis area prospect is also stronger than he may look and Johnson will only get bigger and stronger during his time in college. I believe the Bulldogs are getting a steal with this guy. Johnson is one of the best big play backs from our senior class that might have a chance to see the field early during his time down in Starkville.

Debuting inside our “Top 500” at 55th overall, Bailey is one of the biggest rankings risers from either side of the ball that has the ability to handle multiple positions on the collegiate playing stage. The Knights senior athlete burst on the scene this Fall from the running back position where Bailey put up some big games but will his future in college be in the backfield? It's possible but with a great physical body at 6'3 200 pounds and natural athletic abilities, Bailey could develop at receiver, linebacker or safety on the next level. This guy is one of the more intriguing talents we have from the #TN2025 class that definitely earned his spot within our Top 100.

Going into the 2024 season, Hayes was already a Top 100 prospect but after a strong senior season and plenty of scouting, this Mid-Tennessee prospect jumped into our Top 60 players and sits as one of the best available offensive prospects remaining. Where I saw improvement with Hayes was with his speed but also the route tree where the Wildcats receiver enhanced his route running significantly. He also packed on some muscle that allowed Hayes to take hits and continue pushing down field. I really like the upside here with Hayes and what he can do on the collegiate stage. He is still coming into own, so the best football days are certainly ahead for this Mid-Tennessee product.

Back in the off-season, Pickett began his rise up the recruiting charts with strong camp action but continued the play this Fall where the Warriors playmaker showed why he is a legit college prospect. Pickett is a two-way talent that could develop at receiver or defensive back but I and college coaches are liking him for offense. His upside in the slot is superb because Pickett is a natural athlete that can run! He is also a solid route runner that should improve further in that area in college. Currently a Mr. Football semifinalist, Pickett is a dynamic ball player that could sneak his way into the D1 ranks before it's all said and done.

One of the more explosive prospects coming of the East Tennessee region for our #TN2025 class is this Cleveland senior, who took over the lead role at running back this year and flourished. It was a big senior year for Davis where his speed was on full display. Throughout the Blue Raiders schedule, Davis had multiple long runs for touchdowns due to his explosive running style. Defenses had a hard time dealing with this guy because of his speed but also because of his ability to see the hole and run without hesitation. The additional size Davis put on this year certainly helped take his game to another level but also make him more appealing with college coaches.

Injuries slowed down the strong start Johnson had this year but he still showed enough to boost his #PRZTN ranking and stock for the next level. What I like most about this Mid-Tennessee ball carrier is his physical running style and vision to find the open field. Johnson has good speed too that can bounce it to the outside but his bread and butter is running between the tackles. Defenders have a hard time bringing the Cavs running back to the ground due to his broad shoulders and powerful lower base. Johnson could develop into an excellent red zone threat due to his physicality. This guy is a better athlete than some may think and could be a steal for whoever signs him.

Currently sitting as a Mr. Football semifinalist, Smith put together a breakout senior season that not only boosted his #PRZTN ranking but also his overall recruiting profile. A multi year starter, hard nosed runner, Smith took his game to another level this year with improved running between the tackles while increasing his overall speed. The biggest trait that I like about Smith is his vision but also how hard he runs. Playing on the 3A level may be a reason college coaches are looking past this West Tennessee talent but trust me, this guy can play and provide a lot of value to your backfield as a potential three down back.

One of the biggest rankings risers we have from our senior class is this small town standout that has the size, speed and athletic profile to develop into a playmaking receiver on the college stage. UT-Martin agrees, as they offered this Fall and I wouldn't be surprised to see a few others get on board before the February signing day. Moore is a natural athlete that could develop at multiple positions but his size, speed combo on offense makes him a very appealing prospect for wide receiver. On multiple occasions this year, the Lions senior product looked like a man among boys. Once he got into the open field, his physicality and speed made things difficult for the opposition. He is still far from a finished product, so his best football days could be ahead of him.

Guy became a new name on the scene back in the late spring then proceeded to have a solid senior season where his speed was a game changer. This Murfreesboro area wideout saw a big jump with his ranking with a lot of it due to his blazing speed and potential for the college game. A track guy that can easily find open space, Guy is a major deep threat due to his speed and if he can continue learning the route tree while gaining more size, the Blaze wideout may become a steal for whoever he signs with. If this guy was any bigger with deeper knowledge into running routes, his ranking would be higher and that's due to how fast Guy is and how much of a problem he can be for opposing defensive backs.

Much of the rise for Hutchinson took place in the off-season where he put himself on the map as a potential college tight end and he didn't do anything to hurt his stock throughout the Fall season. The Big Red had an up and down season that didn't showcase Hutchinson too much but what he did show was upside as a run blocker. This guy is a physical competitor that stays balanced and gets low with his blocking while being able to do so in space. Hutchinson has upside as a college pass catcher too that has yet to really show how good he can be in this area. I know several college programs are looking at this Nashville product, so it will be interesting to see where he signs and how he develops.
