<p>Sumner County, Tennessee is about as directly in the middle and North as it gets when looking at a map of the Volunteer State. In fact, the middle Tennessee county actually borders Simpson County and Allen County in Kentucky to the north. It's also home to a number of impressive middle school football players and a well organized conference. I don't have exacts on size, but he's a big kid--likely in the 6-foot-2, 6-foot-3 range and looks to weigh around 250-pounds. The starter at Right Tackle and Defensive Tackle, he routinely showed off his power and finished off his blocks with a side of syrup. </li>

He started at Left Tackle this season and I really liked how he moved his feet in the trenches. When he got his arms fully extended and was able to sit in his stance, he was was as good as anyone pass blocking. He also used that same extension and strength to make a ton of plays as an Edge rusher on defense.</li>

Defensively he started at Defensive End opposite [player_tooltip player_id='1563772' first='Ryder' last='Gallaty']</li>

<li>While he and Davis made up the stronger side of the Offensive Line, it was Plourde's play on the Defensive Line that made me and anyone who watched him this past season, pay attention. The Sumner County Defensive Player of the Year was a reliable player from the opening whistle of the season, as he tallied 10 sacks, over 35 tackles and every lineman's dream of scoring a touchdown on a pick-six.</li>

Sumner County, Tennessee is about as directly in the middle and North as it gets when looking at a map of the Volunteer State. In fact, the middle Tennessee county actually borders Simpson County and Allen County in Kentucky to the north.
