is an interesting interior defensive lineman who did not play much last year, but comes into ’26 with the potential to have a good season. I like his traits and motor, which help him consistently find his way into the backfield. He must tweak a few things, but I see the vision.
He’s a more compact lineman, standing 5-foot-11 and weighing 225 pounds. Plourde is well-built, with plenty of power behind his pads. The sophomore has solid athleticism and physical traits, but what really excites me is his effort.
He has one of the highest motors that I’ve seen from a defensive lineman in his class. Plourde refuses to be denied from making a play. Additionally, he has a solid bag of pass-rush moves and has shown his ability to stop the run. He must add mass and polish his technique, but Plourde has a bright future at Beech High School.

- While he and Davis made up the stronger side of the Offensive Line, it was Plourde’s play on the Defensive Line that made me and anyone who watched him this past season, pay attention. The Sumner County Defensive Player of the Year was a reliable player from the opening whistle of the season, as he tallied 10 sacks, over 35 tackles and every lineman’s dream of scoring a touchdown on a pick-six.
