In six games this season, he has 23 tackles, one interception and has played good coverage along the way. He has a good looking frame for his age and position, standing 6-foot and weighing 150 pounds. Malone possesses a longer frame, which excites me for his future.

He’s a good coverage player with solid technique, good footwork and nice instincts. Malone is also a willing tackler, which seems to go under the radar. You always want to find defensive backs who are not afraid to do the dirty work. I’d like to see him develop into a more polished player, but the physical tools are there.
