The 6'2"/250 DE has totaled 50 tackles and leads the team in sacks (10.5) and TFLs (13.5). He's a powerful edge-setter that makes effective use of his hands at the POA and consistently makes plays around the ball with his high motor. He's a decent athlete that shows some juice in his get-off and continues to develop his skillset as a pass rusher. He's an athletic 6'1"/210 defender that can beat slower-moving OTs with his quickness and agility off the snap. He deploys an effective swim move and makes good use of his hands to shed at the POA. Would like to see him more proactive with his hands, feet, and leverage as a read-and-react run defender but shows promising physicality sealing the edge. He's a multi-purpose FS that can act as a rangy deep-middle zone defender and is a committed downhill tackler (61 tackles). He does a good job of weaving on eyes while gaining depth, snapping the hips open, and taking efficient angles to make plays on the ball outside the hashmarks. Strong ball skills and instinctive processing give him turnover-producing upside. He's a downhill thumper in the run game that can muddy the waters and set a physical tone between the OTs. He packs a punch behind his 6'2"/220 frame and shows the strength to shed blockers working up to the second level. I'd be interested to see his his level of athleticism and coverage skill as he continues to develop. He's an athletic TE/OLB that showed his ability to be disruptive as an edge rusher and his speed and range towards the sidelines playing off the ball. He's a high-motor defender, can retrace to track down the ball, and possesses the tools to develop into an athletic pass rusher with continued development. He's a rangy, athletic tackler from his ILB spot that can rely on his savvy ability to slip blocks and lateral speed to make sideline-to-sideline plays. He plays more physical than his 6'2"/180 frame would suggest and and holds up well as an interior run stopper.
