Nobody is talking about Petoskey.

Haden is a sensational defender who will have a TON of opportunities to make a big impact on the game vs. DeWitt. The Panthers throw it deep a lot, and they also push the ball into space a lot via reverses and screens.

Against Midland, Haden showed great tackling, play speed, and instincts. His first highlight shows excellent defense on a wheel route, making a big hit and PBU. His next play shows an excellent tipped pass, followed by a sack.

Haden is playing his best football late in his senior season. If Petoskey wants to win against DeWitt, Haden needs to have a big name, which I think he will.

Nobody is talking about Korbin, who is having one of the best seasons of any football player in Michigan. I'd go as far as saying Korbin deserves Mr. Football consideration.

He's been a two-way player all season at QB/DE/OLB.

I've watched Korbin over the years at defensive end. There, I've always been impressed with his explosive getoff and physicality. Alongside great motor, Korbin is always a threat to sack the QB, stop outside runs, and even earn run stops from the backside.

Korbin is new to the QB position. New to the position, he's led Petoskey to 41 points per game. He's an OK passer, but definitely capable. As a runner, he's powerful and always fights for extra yards.

Great player, and I'm excited to see how Korbin does against DeWitt.

If it weren't for other elite weapons on the East Lansing offense, Dwataye would be a much more well-known player.

Dwataye is an elusive weapon through and through, doing his best work in the open field.

Out of the backfield, Dwataye does extremely well once he gets to the second level. Against inexperienced LBs, Dwataye is able to consistently juke, stutter step, and otherwise get past those defenders. Out in open space (screens for the most part), Dwataye navigates through open space well. Overall, he's a great weapon for the East Lansing offense to go to a few times per game.

I'm very interested to see if Billy earns any late recruiting attention after this season. I've been getting stats from ND Prep for most of the season, and Billy has been doing exceptionally well. For instance, last week against Corunna, Billy totaled 142 yards and 1 TD on just 10 carries.

This week against Armada, Billy has a great opportunity to have another 100+ yard game, even against a solid defense. I think that, no matter the outcome, Billy will put up good stats.

I feel that Billy has solid Division 3 potential. There's no doubt that he's above average when it comes to athleticism, conditioning, and contact balance. Especially if he has good athletic testing numbers, I could easily see colleges becoming interested.

However, the thing is, the Running Back position may be the most saturated position in football. Most colleges I talk to are not urgently recruiting running backs.

AJ has an opportunity to make his name known this weekend. So far this season, AJ has been a solid run-stopping defensive tackle.

His midseason highlights show a good variety of skills. First off, AJ is able to hold his ground very well. Once the offensive lineman engages, AJ does so well in anchoring and then attempting to shed the block. At other times, AJ does well avoiding zone blocks, slipping through linemen, and finding his way into the backfield.

ND Prep has a great offensive line and a phenomenal run game led by Billy, who I wrote about above. Needless to say, I am excited to see how AJ and the Armada defense attack the ND Prep offense.
