This dude is big, physical and brings the juice on every snap. He reads and reacts well, flows and is able to get off of blocks. With an elite secondary behind him, he has really been able to be the physical presence in the middle. He covers sideline to sideline and does a great job of adjusting his pursuit angle on the fly and making the play. Beyond that, he has still been a player offensively, adding to his versatility. One of the hardest working linebackers in the state of Michigan will be taking his talents to Grand Valley State, and they're getting an absolute dude. His weeks 1-3 film is a nice mash-up of all the things I like about his game. First off, he reads and reacts about as quick as anyone in the state. He is a student of the game, and it shows on the field. He's a big and physical kid who comes in with bad intentions. His relentless pursuit is impressive and allows him to make plays other linebackers just can't. This dude is shot out of a cannon on every play, and he can legitimately make plays from sideline to sideline. He diagnoses quickly and does a great job of flowing, ripping through block attempts and making the play. He brings the energy consistently and doesn't take plays off. I have been really impressed by him so far, but he hasn't hardly scratched the surface of his potential. He possesses a good frame and understands how to work through blocks and fill gaps, making offenses have to account for him. He still has the speed to make plays all over the field, and that paired with his football IQ makes him incredibly efficient and one of the top defensive playmakers in the Detroit area.
