Braxton showed excellent vision and cutting ability as he was pounding between the tackles and chewing up solid yards on the ground. I was also impressed with Braxton's toughness as he did not go down on first contact and was generally falling forward at the end of his runs. On offense Avery showed excellent versatility as he took over as the primary running back and showed excellent speed getting to the edge on a good McBain defense and picking up chunk yards. Avery also had a long touchdown catch on a double move and just flew by a biting Ramblers DB. But the fun did not stop there , Avery also had 2 interceptions for the Aggies and locked down wide out number 1 for McBain all night. This big bodies Athlete lined up all over the offensive formations for the Aggies. Grady had 3 touchdown catches and scored them in a variety of ways. Grady scored on a quick hitch on first and goal as was met at the goal line but with a nifty side step the was able to walk into the end zone. On the next 2 scores he just took the top of the Ramblers defense with go routes that he ran away from the defenders on. Clayton was a monster as a tight end and threw massive blocks all night long. On one play Clayton drove a defensive end about 10 yards outside the hash marks before putting him flat on his back in front of the Ramblers bench. On the defensive side of the ball Clayton did a good job setting the edge and eating up blocks again a Beal City offense that is very hard to defend. Cuyler did a nice job in the run game but really excelled putting the ball in the air throwing for about 200 yards and tossing 4 touchdown passes. Cuyler put the ball on the money all night long and showed a very solid arm on the deep ball. Cuyler also did a nice job getting the ball out quick on slants or hitches and throws a very catchable ball as he puts good touch on the ball. Beal City had made a living running the ball down hill at defenses and is very hard to stop but with Cuyler at the helm the passing game is very much alive and well.
