Big Time Offensive Performers of Week 4

Week 4 was just as fun as we all thought it may be, and with that came some big performances from a variety of prospects. Below are some the standouts from week 4.    In their week 4 win over Dearborn, Dean went 15 carries for 214 yards and 2 touchdowns, as well as a 2-point conversion, and a couple of receptions as well. As the rain fell, the game plan was very simple-get outside and attack the edges with Dean's speed. He did a great job of following his blocks and accelerating into the open field. I loved to see his one cut and go type of running from him, just getting what he can and not trying to do too much given the conditions. Really impressive performance for a guy who is quickly rising my board.     In Hartland's massive week 4 win over Brighton, Nic was absolutely unstoppable. He was given a huge workload, and didn't flinch a bit. On a whopping 32 carries, Nic went off for 228 yards and 2 touchdowns, averaging over 7 yards per carry. The film tells a really impressive tale of what it looked like. He was doing it the hard way too, regularly busting big runs from rushes right up the middle, smashing through arm tackles and showing great contact balance. His agility and ability to stop and start was extremely impressive, and the speed once he got into the open field was too much for the Brighton defense. Huge game for Nic, and I have high hopes for him and his squad going forward!     It only took 16 touches for Ayden to eclipse the 200 yard mark on the night, with 3 of them going for touchdowns. I was on site as the standout sophomore ripped off big run after big run. The FGR defense had absolutely no answer for his track speed and elite vision. He saw blocks develop and was able to adjust and attack on the fly. I was really impressed with the versatility as well, getting it done both between the tackles and winning with speed on the outside. He reminds me of the elite RB they had just a few years ago Kadale Williams, who is now at Toledo. Outstanding performance for the star 2029.     Really solid week 4 highlights for Russo who was a major standout over the offseason. The hard work is very clearly paying off for him, acquiring a Heidelberg offer this week as well. He was a major weapon on the outside and put up some impressive highlights. He was creating space and giving his QB an easy target, but even when he was targeted while covered, his late hands and impressive concentration allowed him to make contested catches, including a deep ball touchdown that required a heck of a lot of skill. Russo keeps getting better and is barely scratching the surface of how great he can really be.     Another massive night for the SMCC athlete! No surprises here, this dude keeps putting up video game numbers. Week 4 numbers include 250 rushing yards on 19 attempts, with 4 touchdowns and adding 5 tackles. It's not uncommon to see a strong, powerful back at these smaller schools, but to have that build with the legitimate track speed is incredibly rare. In week 4, he was bouncing off of tacklers, running through arm tackles and then hitting the open field at full speed. He has legitimate instincts that allow him to feel how the defense is flowing and find creases and attack them. With 296 all-purpose yards, this kid did it all in their win. Huge stock riser for me so far this season.
