We're a few days away from the 11-man regional finals! At this point in the playoffs, only the state championship contenders remain. No more teams that barely snuck in, and practically zero projected blowouts. Each win will be earned, and the stars on each respective team need to ball out. Here are five of the best Sophomores who'll very likely play a big role in this weekend's regional finals.

Chad has already had himself a breakout season, mainly being utilized as an outside receiver.

He's trusted to make a lot of plays in space. A very common route that he runs is a simple 5-yard hitch. Most of the time, Chad is stopped for a short gain. Sometimes, Chad is able to evade a couple tackles for some really impressive YAC.

Chad also runs a few other routes, mostly go's and screens. Plus, he's an excellent, excellent blocker. I think Chad will have a opportunity to play one of his best games against Carlson, who haven't played as good a passing team as OLSM.

Jeremiah is one of the best Swiss Army Knives in Michigan. Throughout the season, he's seen time at Running back, Receiver, and Kick/Punt Return.

No matter where he's playing, Jeremiah is an elite speed-in-space player. At running back, he can hit his hole navigate through tight traffic extremely well. At receiver, he can run just about any route, as he has great route-running and chance of direction. He's best utilized, in my opinion, on crossers and screens, where Jeremiah is able to earn maximum YAC.

Returning kicks may be Jeremiah's most valuable skill. It seems like he breaks a big return every game, again, navigating his way through traffic and breaking upfield with excellent speed.

Adams defense is one of the best in Michigan, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the Grand Blanc offense schemes Jeremiah up.

All season long, Brady has been an excellent blocker and a capable runner.

A pretty straightforward evaluation, but Brady is one of if not the best, lead blockers in Michigan. Last week against Grosse Pointe South, Brady had a number of dominant blocks. Simply, Brady is a powerful football player who puts any flat-footed defender in the turf.

He's also flashed solid running. Brady has had a number of very good runs where he's usually seen dragging defenders for extra yardage.

Brady will be a key factor in beating an excellent, undefeated Groves team in the Regional Final.

I'm very interested in seeing how Cash performs against Constantine, if he's earned a lot of playing time.

From his hudl, it looks like Cash has split time between JV and Varsity. At defensive end, Cash heavily leans on his athleticism. I like how quickly Cash gets off the ball, and I know from the offseason that he has some bend and a decent understanding of pass-rush moves. Still, I'd like to see vast improvements in power over the next year.

I'm not 100% sure if Cash will play this weekend, but if he does, I'm very interested in seeing how he performs.

Apart of a stacked group of weapons, Tre has been able to stand out. It's especially impressive considering Tre is only a sophomore.

Just last week against Saline, Tre notched two catches and a Touchdown. That TD came from a pretty solid slant route in the redzone.

His sophomore highlight tape further shows off his versatility. No matter the route, Tre has an excellent release, much of the time against press coverage. Alongside that, Tre has elite athleticism plus speed, able to take the top off of the defense as well as taking crossing routes in stride for big yardage.

Tre is about to go against a really, really good Catholic Central defense. I'm incredibly curious to see how Tre is utilized, and I hope he's able to make some plays.
