Kings Mountain at JM Robinson - Offensive Standouts

The JM Robinson Bulldogs rode a dominant first half to a 41-14 2nd Round Playoff victory over the Kings Mountain Mountaineers this past Friday Night on their home field. We have some offensive standouts from both teams, we will take a look at them in this article.    Dominic was our offensive player of the game, scoring two touchdowns - 1 receiving, 1 rushing, in the Bulldogs victory. Testa rushed for 50 yards and caught 5 passes for 65 yards in the game. Testa was very fast with the football in his hands, exploding into space on a variety of routes and running plays from the wide receiver position. I spoke with Dominic about his performance in the game.   <a href="https://twitter.com/pepman704/status/1860477353882783984">https://twitter.com/pepman704/status/1860477353882783984</a>     The electrifying South Carolina commit caught 4 passes in the game, showing some soft hands and smooth route running on those plays. Brian willfully did his share of blocking well for his teammates on the perimeter of the defense, showing his unselfish personality in putting the team before himself. Brian also was the primary punt returner for the Bulldogs, providing some speed and athleticism into space on those plays.     The young standout freshman carried the load in the running game after an injury happened to starting running back [player_tooltip player_id='1332096' first='LJ' last='Watson']. Ennis rushed 21 times for 130 yards and a touchdown in the Bulldogs victory. The most impressive thing is the vision that Ennis has, it is well beyond the standard for a freshman player in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Ennis also has a nice burst through the hole and gets north/south very well.     The big Class of 2027 prospect was strong and aggressive coming off of the football, setting a physical tone up front for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs controlled the line of scrimmage for the vast majority of the game, allowing the offense to put up over 500 total yards in the victory. 355 of those total yards came on the ground, reflective of the strength of Elijah and the Bulldogs offensive line overall.     Jon played an excellent overall game in leading the Bulldogs to victory. The dual-threat prospect was accurate at throwing the football, going 13 for 17 for 190 yards and two touchdown passes. Jon was also an effective scrambler, rushing for 85 yards on 10 carries with a touchdown run, which helped seal the victory for the Bulldogs in the 4th quarter. Jon played with poise and did a great job of getting the ball out fast and on-time in the passing game.     Jayden did a good job as a receiver, coming up with several tough catches to jumpstart the Mountaineers offense in the 2nd half as they attempted a comeback to get back into the game. Jayden showed good quickness and fluidity on crossing routes, making tough catches against man coverage on a number of occasions.     The hot Class of 2026 prospect from a recruiting perspective scored the first of the Mountaineer's touchdowns late in the 3rd quarter. William is an excellent physical receiving prospect, and he can excel on a wide variety of routes on the outside and over the middle of the field. William has an excellent catch radius and strong hands to bring the ball in routinely.     The big running back prospect ran hard all night long for the Mountaineers. Josiah picked up some tough yardage routinely on the ground, and got going a bit in the 2nd half, providing balance for the Mountaineers when they put up their 14 points in the 2nd half. Despite being a bigger back, Josiah showed some speed in getting to the edge of the defense on a couple of outside zone type of runs.
