[player_tooltip player_id='255022' first='Cooper' last='Parker'] - Senior Quarterback/Linebacker - Bixby

Defending champion Bixby is back into the playoffs and the Spartans are looking to make more history in the next month. Leading the way on both sides of the ball is senior quarterback and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='255022' first='Cooper' last='Parker'] and he'll look to elevate his game over the next four weeks. Offensively, Parker comes in at quarterback to run the ball right into the heart of the opposing defense. He's been very successful over the last two seasons. Defensively, he's emerged as one of the better linebackers in Class 6A-1 this season. It seems like Bixby always has a strong linebacker unit and this season is no different. The Spartans have this week off before they prepare for the quarterfinals in two weeks, facing the winner of Moore-Norman North.

[player_tooltip player_id='209872' first='David' last='McComb'] - Senior Quarterback - Edmond Memorial

Edmond Memorial is one of a handful of teams that has a ton of momentum coming into the playoffs this week. The Bulldogs finished as the two seed so they'll await the winner of Norman-Westmoore in the quarterfinals. Senior quarterback and Kansas commit [player_tooltip player_id='209872' first='David' last='McComb'] has been one of the best quarterbacks in the state's 2025 class since he was a freshman and he's definitely looked like it this season. McComb has helped lead the Bulldogs to an 8-2 record and he leads an offense that is incredibly balanced. McComb has all the tools to help guide Edmond Memorial on a run to the state championship game and they'd play it only a few miles away from campus. McComb and the Bulldogs are serious contenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='242231' first='Grady' last='Adamson'] - Senior Quarterback - Deer Creek

Class 6A-1 might have the best collection of playoff quarterbacks of any class this season. Deer Creek senior and Georgia Tech commit [player_tooltip player_id='242231' first='Grady' last='Adamson'] is another example of a 6A-1 quarterback that is without a doubt one of the best signal callers in the state. Adamson has been a player to watch since taking over as QB1 during his sophomore season. Some wondered how Adamson and the Antlers would respond when they were pushed up to Class 6A-1 back in April following the emergency redistricting shuffle. They've clearly responded and Adamson has answered the call. Now, the Deer Creek signal caller and the Antlers look to shock the rest of Class 6A-1 and make a run this month. They open up the playoffs at home against Broken Arrow.

[player_tooltip player_id='1355551' first='Hayden' last='Stull'] - Senior Linebacker - Moore

Moore has one of the more underrated linebacker units in the state, regardless of class. Leading the way for the Lions this season has been senior [player_tooltip player_id='1355551' first='Hayden' last='Stull'] and he's leading the team in almost every defensive category this season. Stull leads Moore in tackles, tackles for loss and sacks this season and the Lions are playing with a ton of momentum as they enter the postseason. And this is a Moore team that is hungry to get back into the playoffs after the last several seasons. Stull and the Lions are starting out their playoff journey on Saturday against Norman North. Moore beat Norman North back in week three but Stull and the Lion defense will try to limit a Norman North offense that's clicking on all cylinders.

[player_tooltip player_id='402378' first='KD' last='Jones'] - Junior Running Back - Jenks

When you're talking about players to watch in Class 6A-1, you can't have the conversation without talking about junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='402378' first='KD' last='Jones'] at Jenks. Jones just finished up his third consecutive season of over 1,000 yards against 6A-1 competition and we remember the clutch moments he had in the playoffs a year ago. Jenks has this week off and they'll face the winner of Mustang-Union in the quarterfinals. If it ends up being the rival Redhawks, Jones will definitely be ready for another crack at them after falling on the road all the way back in week two. There's no doubt that Jones is one of the best players in Oklahoma this season and has been for a while now. He'll look to lead the Trojans back to the mountain top in Class 6A-1.

[player_tooltip player_id='284117' first='Mason' last='James'] - Junior Wide Receiver - Norman North

Norman North wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='284117' first='Mason' last='James'] is one of the best overall prospects in the state's 2026 class. Norman North is playing some of their best football of the season and James is doing the same. Two weeks ago, he had arguably the best game of his career against top-ranked Owasso. Despite a slow start to the season, Norman North has a ton of momentum going right now and they'll look to continue that in the first round on Saturday against Moore. Simply put, James is arguably the best wide receiver in Class 6A-1 and he's shown multiple times this season that he can change a game in the blink of an eye. The Timberwolves might be underdogs going into the playoffs but they definitely have the talent to make a run.

[player_tooltip player_id='649663' first='Octavian' last='Roberson'] - Sophomore Running Back - Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow is back in the playoffs and looking to make a run. When we look at the Tigers, we can't help but focus on the running back position. Sophomore running back [player_tooltip player_id='649663' first='Octavian' last='Roberson'] is one of the more underrated playmakers in Class 6A-1 this season. Roberson has been very successful running the ball this season and he's also emerged as a serious threat in the passing game as a receiver. Broken Arrow also has an offensive line unit that has a high ceiling moving forward. The Tigers have a tough playoff path as they start on the road against Deer Creek. But look for Roberson to be very involved with what the Tigers do on the offensive side of the ball. He's a sophomore running back that has a high ceiling in our opinion.

[player_tooltip player_id='211962' first='Phoenix' last='Murphy'] - Senior Quarterback - Norman

Norman senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='211962' first='Phoenix' last='Murphy'] might be at the top of the list for this year's most improved player across Oklahoma. Murphy has transformed into one of the best quarterbacks in Class 6A-1 and that's not something that we saw coming back in the summer. He's led the Tigers to a 9-1 record, headlined by the week ten victory over Bixby on the road. And Murphy has not only been in command of the Norman offense this season, he's elevated his play and has some of the best individual performances we've seen from the quarterback position this fall. Murphy and the Tigers will begin their playoff journey in the first round at home against Westmoore. He'll try to lead them to new heights this month.

[player_tooltip player_id='350245' first='Ryker' last='Haff'] - Senior Offensive Lineman - Owasso

It's not often that we put the spotlight on an offensive lineman during a "Players To Watch" feature. But Owasso senior [player_tooltip player_id='350245' first='Ryker' last='Haff'] isn't your typical offensive lineman and the Rams aren't your typical team. Look at this roster up and down and you see an extremely balanced unit on both sides of the ball. And this isn't a team that's lacking star power but they don't have an overwhelming superstar like some of the other contenders. They are the ultimate definition of a team this season and Haff is helping pave the way for the offense. And this Owasso offense has been one of the best units in Class 6A-1 and that began right from the start of this season. Haff and the Rams have dreams of raising another gold ball and they're the team to beat.

[player_tooltip player_id='188014' first='Shaker' last='Reisig'] - Senior Quarterback - Union

Union senior quarterback and Boston College commit [player_tooltip player_id='188014' first='Shaker' last='Reisig'] is hungry to lead the Redhawks all the way to the state title game. After back to back semifinal disappointments, Union wants to put that in the past. Reisig has championship experience after helping lead Jenks to the gold ball as a freshman. The path to Edmond got a little harder for Reisig and the Redhawks after they tripped up in week ten against Edmond Memorial. But there's no doubt that when you're talking about Reisig, there are few quarterbacks playing as well as he is right now. He's taken his game up a notch over the last four weeks and has been incredibly efficient and dangerous with the ball. They open up the playoffs at home against Mustang.

[player_tooltip player_id='998363' first='Trajan' last='Williamson'] - Senior Quarterback - Mustang

Mustang senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='998363' first='Trajan' last='Williamson'] came into this season with some unfinished business after missing the second half of his junior year with a season-ending injury. Williamson has guided Mustang back to the playoffs and he leads an offense that can be one of the better units in the playoffs when they are clicking on all cylinders. When we look at the quarterbacks in Class 6A-1, Williamson is one of the more underrated guys because he can beat a defense with his arm and his legs. But the thing that separates him this year is all the close games that Mustang has played this fall. So if a game goes down to the wire, Williamson should feel right at home. They open the playoffs against Union and that was the game last year where Williamson got hurt.

[player_tooltip player_id='1217327' first='Zay' last='Wallace'] - Senior Defensive Back - Westmoore

Westmoore is back into the playoffs and they'll look to make an unpredictable run and it starts on Friday on the road against Norman. Senior defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1217327' first='Zay' last='Wallace'] is our Westmoore player to watch as we head into the playoffs. We got a chance to watch Wallace quite a bit this offseason at various 7v7 tournaments and at the time, he was at Putnam City North. This offseason, he moved over to Westmoore and became one of the better cover corners in Class 6A-1. Wallace is a big cornerback that has had a lot of success against some of the best wide receivers in Class 6A-1 this season. Wallace and the Jaguars face a Norman offense that has an outstanding passing attack. They'll need Wallace to elevate his game again.
