Every Monday throughout the season, we kick off the week by looking at the ten best games across the state of Oklahoma. And because we have a hard time following our own rules, we have five bonus games in addition to the ten best games. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma every day this week and throughout the season for the best coverage of Oklahoma high school football. Later this week, we'll also take a look at the Tuttle Tigers as they prepare for a match-up of top five 4A teams against Bethany. And we'll finish off the week by taking a look at the players to watch this week as well as our latest installment of the Prep Redzone Oklahoma Player Of The Year Watchlist! For now, here's a breakdown on this week's top games across Oklahoma!

#3 ADAIR (5-0) AT #6 KANSAS (4-1)

There are a handful of games in Class 2A-2 but this one could be the best of the bunch as #3 Adair goes on the road to face off with #6 Kansas. Back in July and August, we mentioned this district being one of the tougher districts in the state, regardless of class. It's played out like that so far through the first half of the regular season. Adair is 5-0 but the Warriors have been tested and Kansas has dropped a game but they've bounced back from that loss. They had a close game with Wyandotte last week but they still have their district title hopes alive. The winner of this game is going to be in a very good spot moving forward within the district standings. For Adair, this begins a two-week stretch where they face Kansas and Colcord and both teams are ranked in the top six of the 2A-2 rankings.

#7 BEGGS (4-1) AT #9 HOLDENVILLE (5-0)

In another 2A-2 clash, #7 Beggs goes on the road to face #9 Holdenville. Beggs just suffered their first loss of the season last week, losing at home to #2 Davis. Now, they try to hand Holdenville their first loss of the year. The Wolverines might be a surprise to some around the state as they are in the top ten and 5-0 at the halfway mark of the regular season. But this is a team that is experienced and runs an offense that gives opponents a lot of problems. And that's bad news for Beggs because they just got done facing a Davis offense that runs the ball and controls the clock. The Wolves had a drive in the fourth quarter that lasted nearly ten minutes. The Wolverines will look to take a page out of that book and put together more drives like that. For Beggs, they need to bounce back after last week.

#6 CENTRAL SALLISAW (3-2) AT #5 TALIHINA (5-0)

The first of several Class A-2 clashes this week will see #5 Talihina hosting #6 Central Sallisaw. Talihina is just two years removed from not even playing football and they find themselves with a perfect record and coming off a loud statement victory over Gore last week. Talihina is led by quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1524935' first='Landen' last='Griffith'] and he's putting up some of the best numbers in the class this season. On the other side of the match-up, we'll see a Central Sallisaw squad that has some momentum coming into this week. They lost their first two games this season but have won three straight games. That includes last week when they won a high-scoring affair against Regent Prep, handing the Rams their first loss. The winner of this match-up will be in a great position moving forward within the district standings.

#4 HOMINY (4-1) AT #1 WOODLAND (5-0)

This is the marquee match-up in Class A-2 this week and a game that we'll be attending on Friday night as top-ranked Woodland will host #4 Hominy. Woodland has been on top of the Class A-2 rankings since July and they've done nothing but back up the hype. The Cougars have been dominant this season and senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='806158' first='Trey' last='Bennett'] has been outstanding from the start of the year. #4 Hominy is 4-1 on the season and the Bucks have bounced back from a tough rivalry loss to Pawhuska by winning their last three straight. Hominy is led by junior [player_tooltip player_id='858870' first='Blaine' last='Hipp'] at quarterback and he's had a stellar season so far. But Friday will definitely bring their toughest challenge with Woodland. The Bucks stunned Woodland in the final minute last year and the Cougars definitely haven't forgotten.

#2 HOOKER (4-1) AT #7 CASHION (4-1)

There are a lot of great games in Class A-2 but don't overlook this Class A-1 clash as #2 Hooker goes on the road to face #7 Cashion. Hooker expected to be in a position to contend for the state championship again this season and they've looked the part. But they can't afford to look ahead to next week's state championship rematch with Fairview. They have a tough week six clash with Cashion before they can move on to the rematch. For Cashion, the Wildcats have definitely bounced back in a major way and have had the emergence of a potential star at quarterback. [player_tooltip player_id='1524930' first='Kellen' last='Smith'] has put up some monster numbers this season in the passing game and the run game. Cashion has won three straight games after an early season loss to Velma-Alma. This is a big district clash on Friday night.

#2 MILLWOOD (4-1) AT #7 OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (5-0)

One week after making a loud statement to the rest of 2A-1, #2 Millwood goes on the road to face unbeaten Oklahoma Chrisitan School. The Falcons dominated Jones in their top five match-up a week ago and they put the rest of 2A-1 on notice. But now they have to do it again with an OCS team that is perfect on the season. OCS quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1288791' first='Wyatt' last='Fitzgerald'] has had a terrific start to the season for the Saints. We've written this before but Fitzgerald had a tough task of replacing a four-year starter and he's passed that test with flying colors. But there's no doubt that the Saints are facing their toughest test on Friday night at home against Millwood. The Falcons have an emerging star at quarterback in [player_tooltip player_id='434614' first='CJ' last='Turnbull'] and he's taken another step this season as a three-year starter at quarterback.

#7 MOORE (4-1) AT #5 DEER CREEK (5-0)

#5 Deer Creek has made the transition to Class 6A-1 look absolutely easy but when you look at their schedule, there is no doubt that the second half of the regular season schedule is tougher than the first half. And that second half schedule starts at home against a Moore team that is hungry after suffering their first loss last week to Bixby. Deer Creek is led by star quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='242231' first='Grady' last='Adamson'] and he's really making a strong case for being the best quarterback in Oklahoma this season. Moore will counter Deer Creek's balanced offense with a monstrous running game where they've had multiple players that can beat opponents. The Antlers look like a serious threat for being the "best in the west" for 6A-1 this season but they'll need to continue taking care of business this week.

#7 NORTH ROCK CREEK (3-2) AT #5 PAULS VALLEY (4-1)

It's the best game of the week in Class 3A as #5 Pauls Valley will host #7 North Rock Creek. For Pauls Valley, the Panthers are going to be incredibly hungry to get back on the field after suffering their first loss of the season last week. Pauls Valley jumped out to a 14-0 lead but would eventually fall to Plainview. They now face a North Rock Creek team that snapped a two-game losing streak with a shutout victory last week. And when we look at this match-up, you can't help but look at the running back position because both teams have stars there. Pauls Valley is led by Baylor commit [player_tooltip player_id='353410' first='Caden' last='Knighten'] and he's been borderline unstoppable this season. North Rock Creek will counter with North Texas commit [player_tooltip player_id='593641' first='Caleb' last='Hawkins'] and he's been outstanding on offense and he turns around and plays defense for the Cougars.

#9 TAHLEQUAH (3-2) AT #5 COLLINSVILLE (4-1)

It'll be a terrific game in Class 5A as #5 Collinsville hosts #9 Tahlequah on Friday night. Both teams bounced back in a major way last week after tough losses prior to week five. Collinsville had an impressive shutout victory last week following a tough injury-riddled loss to Del City. Last week, running back [player_tooltip player_id='1018641' first='Scott' last='Rigby'] returned to the lineup and it certainly showed as they rolled to the win. Tahlequah lost two straight games and needed to beat Pryor last week otherwise their playoff hopes would be in big trouble. The Tigers would stun Pryor with a game-winning field goal as time expired. Tahlequah will look to take that win as momentum into this week against another tough district opponent. This is another 5A clash that will have a significant impact on the playoff picture in this district.

#3 TUTTLE (5-0) AT #5 BETHANY (4-1)

This is without a doubt one of the best games in not only Class 4A but in the state overall. #3 Tuttle will go on the road to face #5 Bethany in a top five clash. It was a rare scenario where Bethany lost and actually moved up in the rankings. The Bronchos nearly knocked off defending champion Blanchard last week but had two late interceptions that allowed the Lions to get out of the game with a win. Bethany has played several games this season that have gone down to the wire. And that could be interesting here because Tuttle has been absolutely dominant and hasn't really had a close game since week zero. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='473754' first='Cruz' last='Campbell'] leads an offense that can absolutely light up the scoreboard. This could end up being a high-scoring game with a lot of big plays from both sides.

FIVE MORE GAMES TO WATCH

#8 ALVA (4-1) AT #5 STROUD (5-0)

It's another match-up featuring 2A-2 ranked opponents as #5 Stroud will host #8 Alva. Stroud has gotten off to a 5-0 start and they've elevated their game to new heights when district play has begun. The Tigers have an offense that can absolutely light up the scoreboard. Then you have an Alva team that has won four straight games after a season-opening loss to Class A-1's top-ranked Fairview. The district title could be on the line here.

#8 GROVE (5-0) AT #10 FORT GIBSON (4-1)

In a match-up of top ten teams in Class 4A, we'll see #8 Grove going on the road to face #10 Fort Gibson on Friday night. This is another game that will have massive playoff implications and could be the difference between being at home or on the road in the first round. Grove has had a couple very close calls over the last few weeks. Fort Gibson bounced back last week with a close win after a tough week four loss to Wagoner.

#4 JENKS (2-3) AT #9 MUSTANG (4-1)

#4 Jenks snapped their three-game losing streak last week with a big home win over Norman. Now, they hit the road to the OKC area to face #9 Mustang where they face a Bronco team that is coming off a dramatic win on the road against Enid. Jenks star running back [player_tooltip player_id='402378' first='KD' last='Jones'] has been an absolute workhorse for the Trojans. And Mustang quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='998363' first='Trajan' last='Williamson'] has had a big bounce back season this fall.

#8 LAWTON EISENHOWER (2-3) AT #5 PUTNAM CITY (3-2)

A game that we're paying attention to in Class 6A-2 will see #5 Putnam City hosting #8 Lawton Eisenhower. This is an interesting game because of how each team played last week. The Pirates are coming off a brutal district loss to Choctaw, where they gave up 50+ points. On the other side, Lawton Eisenhower would knock off Southmoore but had to hold off a furious second half rally to get the win.

#2 MANGUM (5-0) AT #9 MOORELAND (4-1)

One of the more underrated Class A-2 match-ups this week will see unbeaten Mangum go on the road to face #9 Mooreland. The Tigers look like one of the top teams in the class, led by senior [player_tooltip player_id='1005610' first='Austin' last='Solis'] at the running back position. And on the other side of this match-up, you'll see Mooreland who is coming off their first loss of the season. They'll be hungry to bounce back in a major way but it'll be a tough match-up.
