Mid-Season Tape Review

At our events, we have the drills ran by college coaches, so you will be able to meet and perform in front of those who will recruit you. The showcase is open to class of 2025-2028 players. His size makes him a mismatch versus any DB, and he knows how to position himself to create separation and can jump to high point the ball above anyone on the field. He excels in deep Seam and Fade routes, but he also shows he can run good hitch and comeback routes, in addition to taking a quick smoke screen and turn upfield. He has proven himself to be a ball-hawking play-making defensive back at King's Fork. He plays tight coverage against WRs, and he displays very good ball skills in coverage to force pass breakups and interceptions. He plays strong against the run, can rush the pass, and play in coverage. He shows good athleticism with good speed, lateral movement, and short-area quickness. He is explosive through his hands in engaging linemen, to create separation allowing him to shed the block. He quickly keys the hole and is patient to follow his blocks, and then shows good burst through the hole with his good explosiveness, balance, and acceleration. He is solid in the receiving game and can run basic routes out of the backfield. At QB, his athleticism allows him to maneuver in the pocket and on roll out passes. His accuracy is very good this year placing the ball where only his receivers can get it and setting them up for yards after the catch. On defense, he is playing cornerback, showing good range in deep coverage overtop, with solid ball skills to disrupt the pass. At QB he is 18-34 for 206 yards passing, 4 TDs, and 0 INTs. He has also added 12 carries for 159 yards, and 3 TDs. He is efficiently leading Craig County's offense with his play, and his leadership is a big part of Craig County's 5-1 record to begin the season. His good athleticism shows while he carries the ball where he is able to use his speed, lateral movement, and change of direction to make defenders miss. At the next level, WR is likely where he will find a home if he is recruited to play offense. On defense, he plays Safety and shows his range and ball skills in the film.
