Cole and I profiled Canyon King Canyon King 6'0" | 220 lbs | LB/TE South Lakes | 2025 VA numerous times before and we both agree he can play at the next level. King had a marvelous senior season for the South Lakes Seahawks, collect 92 tackles, 2 sacks and 1 interception, a very versatile defender. Schools such as Concord University, Grove City and Madonna have expressed their interest in him, it should be close to decision time soon for King.

Cole and I are a big fan of Mr. King and it appears many colleges are agreeing with the assessment that he can play at the next level. The senior linebacker was a bright spot for the South Lake Seahawks and he just picked up offers from Capital and Madonna University. He looks like a great fit for both institutions, both on and off the field. King has a 3.97 GPA he could line up for either school above and contribute immediately.

Perhaps one of the bigger stock risers in northern Virginia is South Lakes linebacker Canyon King Canyon King 6'0" | 220 lbs | LB/TE South Lakes | 2025 VA . While the Seahawks overall season may have been disappointing you cannot fault the play of King, he was a beast all year. Finishing with 92 tackles on the year one of the more impressive linebackers you will see on tape. He is everywhere and his coverage skills show he can play both backer and safety at the next level. His recruiting should pick up soon with his season over, I could see him playing at the division 2 level or higher.

An all-around LB for South Lakes has had a strong start to the season. He plays strong against the run, can rush the pass, and play in coverage. He shows good athleticism with good speed, lateral movement, and short-area quickness. He is explosive through his hands in engaging linemen, to create separation allowing him to shed the block. Very good tackler with strong grip strength to bring ball carriers down.

It has been tough sledding for the South Lakes Seahawks but senior Canyon King Canyon King 6'0" | 220 lbs | LB/TE South Lakes | 2025 VA is playing out of his mind. He is a hybrid outside linebacker/defensive end and with his range and skill set I can see why. King gets his hands on everything thrown his way and already has 1 interception thru three games. Excellent speed and good size, I would expect him to get some division 2 looks very soon.
